Oscar doesn’t usually think too hard about the why.

Why he does it. Why he keeps doing it. Why it feels a little less like a game every time he sets the tripod up.

It started as a joke—something Lando dared him into one night, both of them tipsy and tangled on the floor, half a packet of crisps between them.

“You’d make bank,” Lando had said, eyes sharp and lazy at the same time, phone dangling between his fingers. “ Seriously. That ass? You’d break the internet.”

It’s not like he needs the money. The engineering scholarship covers everything important. But there’s something about it—the control, maybe. Or the attention. Or the way it lets him slip into someone else for a while.

Someone sweet. Someone who gets to be wanted.

He doesn’t have to say who he really is. Doesn’t have to be the closed-off, hard-to-read version of himself he brings to the rest of the world. Here, he can just exist. Bare and soft and aching.

That’s what it is, really. It’s the attention. The choice. The silence.

2. Fics must be centred around Omega Oscar but can include any ship or theme.
