This isn't a request, just a question, I keep seeing these "packs" posts around, but I don't really know how they work/what they are? I'm new to system stuff here. 🦌

hello! welcome to the community :D

essentially, headmate packs are a collection of identities for new headmates or fragments (headmates that arent fully formed yet) to latch onto. already formed headmates, or headmates with full identities already, may also use packs to add to their current identity! so that may include more names, more pronouns, more genders, etcetera

in some cases you may find packs offer contradictory labels (which is fine in general, i love contradictory labels), but theyre mainly there as choices for headmates to latch on to. not everything listed is required for the headmate to latch on to, hence why most blogs offer plenty of varying choices for whatever they offer!

i hope this makes sense and im not just rambling :D lmk if you have any more questions! ♡
