“Marie—” Noah near exasperated, pulling her away from the exchange of guests that were filtered throughout the room. While the news of her becoming a vampire was surely disheartening to most, he had found newfound anticipation for such corruption. Noah was unfortunately more let down at the sever perturbation she seemed to suffer on a daily basis, akin to a constant existential crisis that drained all the fun out of it. “I thought you said you could handle this.” Much to his chagrin he had found himself trying to quell her inquietude for what seemed to be the umpteenth time that evening.
“I-I... I was wrong.” The new vampire replied as she looked to the ground. Marie feeling like an utter failure every time she tried to rejoin society. Sure, Alexandre had offered for her to eat from him... He just wasn’t there in the moment. “I don’t think I am ready... I want to go back home. Me coming here was a big mistake... There are too many people... I can here their hearts and the blood. I... I just don’t... I don’t want to hurt anyone.”
