hiiiii i already commented on how much i loved aeternus but i have a few questions about the world of the story,, feel free not to answer if it’s up to interpretation lol
-what are hestias honest feelings on demeter? in the promo art she seemed positive towards her, but seems semi neutral on her at points, despite being friendly .. mostly asking bc i think they have a fun dynamic lol
-are their any other immortals in demeters generation around other than hestia? if so, does demeter interact with any of them?
-this may have just been something i missed, but have any other immortals ever done what demeter did? again ignore if this was already answered in the comic ,,
again, i loved the comic, and ur work in general !!!! ur art style is very inspiring for me :)
im glad you enjoyed!! most of anything that’s not made clear in the comic is purposefully up to interpretation, but i dont mind sharing my personal thoughts that nobody else needs to take to heart (why is the author acting like they know so much)
1. hestia’s thoughts and feelings on demeter is something i’d like to explore more & have Many thoughts on beyond what is just portrayed in the story… i like to think that at one point she was the one trying to actively get demeter to enjoy her life more while being unable to really understand why she just wants to give up and not doing anything to try. this kind of goes along with question #2, but i picture that there aren’t any other immortals within this generation besides hestia and demeter, or at least there haven’t been for a while. which is eerie imo, considering demeter’s generation lasted for thousands of years. because of this, i think hestia has this attachment to demeter that she downplays because she knows it’s a fruitless endeavor, while all of demeter’s feelings about everything are so repressed that after a while she probably forgot how she was even supposed to feel about hestia.
2. again i kind of answered this one, but i dont mind people thinking differently from me too, if you want to pretend there are like 30 other humanoids with in cute dresses living around be my guest. i feel like visually the story points to that, what with there being several different houses and all, but admittedly i always figured they were empty (or housed The Animals) and placed there only to establish the weird atmosphere of like... a half-assed utopia. A planet with some bullshit on it
3. it's implied God has at least done this before, considering they mentioned using the memory strategy 'again,' but otherwise We Don't Know... (pretty much nothing about all previous generations is shared anywhere, besides many of the earliest ones)
thank you for your questions and for reading once again!!
