wanted to continue my very much abandoned but very much missed arlevia siren fic so I concepted navia’s design to make it easier to write about

never again will I try to mimic traditional Japanese designs. they were on a level of artistry that I don’t know how you obtain without hours of slaving away over a canvas and probably crack. im afraid and amazed.

honestly I don’t feel like this is much of an improvement on the sketch, but it was an interesting practice nonetheless. this singular art piece has more hatching than I’ve done the entire rest of my life. i’ve somehow become even more terrified of shirahama kamome because of that. i’ll see you when the wheel rolls next most likely!

didn’t know what to draw so I made a wheel of hoyo women I like. added ei last second cause I forgot about her. wheel landed on ei. of course

I didn’t use a single reference during this but I fw the vibe so I may polish up this design later, but in case I don’t I’m posting it as it is so that I don’t forget and notice I never posted it after two months (this has happened before and will happen again)

Comic update!!!! I’ve finished drafting the entire prologue!!!! I’ll start working on finalizing soon, and once I have the prologue fully finalized and interlude 1 drafted I’ll be ready to post!!!!

Along with that, I’ve come up with a name! The Journey of a Bleeding Heart. I’ll be redoing all of my tags for this title!

out of everything comic drafting has taught me, one of the biggest lessons is I need to seriously work on expressions. so, expression practice with sera! I have more expressions in mind and I want to do the same for elaina too, so I might make this a consistent practice

Comic pages are still taking up the majority of my drawing time, but i wanted to give my OCs more unique eye designs, so i started this wip today. it’s really fun to design eyes!

I drafted the first 5 pages of my comic today! Feeling really confident about it :)

My goal is to draft 2 pages a day, up until the entire prologue and interlude 1 are completed. Then I’ll start refining the drafts and the little details about the story (like the title. I really need to figure that out.). If I can make it all the way through this drafting, then it’ll be sure that I’m happy with this story! I’m so excited to be able to share it with everyone, please be patient for it!
