Naomi took a mental note of that smiling. She stood in her place for a while with her eyes closed. She could see them, this is the only way she ever did, her and her friends. They were running on the beach playing , laughing, having a great time. The memories was all she ever had of the five of them. She didn’t like that she could only see them in memories, pictures, and her dreams. A sad smile was placed on her face as she opened her eyes. She hadn’t realized it but she was crying. “Come, before it gets to late.” She spoke quietly so he couldn’t hear the sadness in her voice and so her voice wouldn’t crack to show that she was crying.
Roxas noticed her tears but didn’t comment on them it wasn’t his place after all he had just met this girl so there was no way he had any right to but his nose into her business. He felt for her sure but he had no reason to comfort her or ask her what was wrong so instead he followed her lead towards the crashing waves he heard in the not so far distance. “Right we should get there soon.” He smiled a little hoping that might have a little effect on her if anything.
Naomi wiped her tears quickly. She nodded slightly, the beach will make things better. When they finally got there she smiled widely then took her sandals off. The sand between her toes and the heat of the sun on her skin made her feel at peace. “So, here we are.” Naomi looked over at Roxas smiling a smile she hasn’t had since her friend left those years ago.
