Speak no evil?

has anyone ever thought that all this fear we are getting, hearing about, being pushed on us, this fear of our PRIVACY being at stake, is a ruse? Maybe, MAYBE the government wants us to be afraid that our privacy is at risk, that we are being watched. Maybe, if we fear 'big brother' spying on us, we will do EXACTLY what they want us to do without them even having to try. We will STOP sharing, we will stop talking in on-line formats that can be spread across the world in a heart beat. We will self restrict our speech, self-deport our freedoms, and we will do it to ourselves. I have never cared if the government watched me, read my emails, LET THEM! Let them know that I am here, that I am loud, that I say what I think and that I wont shut up! Because THAT, that wiliness to not shut up and to be honest in the face of others who disagree is what makes me dangerous, it is what makes my words, my presence a threat. And that is something no one will be able to take away from me. Especially not the fear that it is being noticed.

Thank you:)) I have realized after meeting plenty of black people who love my dreads and who i have now become friends with because if my dreads, that the silly people on tumblr who attack behind a computer monitor really are a waste of time. There are so many things wrong with this world that if you can not spend your energy healing and working towards change, but instead sit and judge, you really don't have a leg to stand on, so why let myself feel bad? Instead I just feel sorry for them. But thanks for your kind words:)) Dreadgoddess
