ok... no offense or anything but, 'color community'? it sounds like the same of a clique or something. I dunno. I'm not mad exactly, but the term is people of color.
Lol! This is my point. Instead of taking what I said as a whole, I needed to hear about my one term? Really?! I had never heard of ‘people of color’ till tumblr, it used to be African American, and before that saying black was what was appropriate. I am trying to keep up, but the rules keep changing and no one is letting us 'white community’ know what the new rules are until we break one.Tell ya what, how about we make a new rule right now. Lets call ourselves the 'human community’ or 'people of earth’. That would be something I would love to support:)Sincerely Ella Gypsy LaRose, the hindu-witch who will happily offend anyone just be being herself!~Dreadgoddess
From my 9 year old Daughter...
"I speak for the children. I have lived to 2013 and I know that our country may get better, but I say that you should look to the children of all nations. We may not have lived as long as you, we may not be as smart, but the difference between us is that we do not see black or white, we do not see rich or poor, we see one race of people that need help, and people that can help other.
If the president were to walk around our country, at this very moment, he would see that there are many people who need him, that are starving, ill, and homeless. Remember that you hand the world to your kids. Give us a better one.
Let the people come together hand in hand. America is supposed to be the land of the free, so why are some of us still enslaved? Let the people come together hand in hand to be stewards of the earth and of each other.
I speak for the children, so that our voices can be heard. Now it is up to you, are you going to listen?"

Winter Dread Maiden By Dreadgoddess I haven't written anything lately. Too busy with art loc orders, life, love, the usual. But I wanted to take a minute and set my intention for 2013. To live life wide open. To pick and choose the aspects I send my spiritual energy into. To walk strong and proud on my path, not being swayed by others who let fears and assumptions cast judgement. For 2013 I plan on deepening my relationship with those I love in my life. I will work to expand my passion, to create greater changes in community, raise my children to hold their heads high and become the full forces I see glimmering within them. This year, I intend to step more into the path of Shakti, teach more, teach deeper, learn more, challange myself and those around me more, become more fully embodied by a sacred life. This year looks like it is unfolding with beauty, like I am walking down the hill I struggled so hard to climb up. This year I see gratitude for work hard done, and lessons well learned. Welcome 2013, Ella Gypsy LaRose is here, and as I will it, namaste!:) Dreadgoddess
