Happy New Year, everyone! I'm so, so exited to open preorders, as it means this project is finally coming to fruition!

Proerders are open from today, Jan. 1st, to Jan. 15th! Zines will start being sent out on the 16th.

How to buy is listed out here, but I'll give you give quick recap:

The zine costs $10- all seventy two pages & extra designs, only for ten dollars! If you are able to, it's encouraged you give more than ten! Every dollar above the ten-dollar amount will be matched by an anonymous donor up to $100.

To buy, you will donate directly to either of the charities (or split between them, it's up to you), then take a picture of the receipt, cross out all personal information, then upload it to the preorders form.

As for art tips:

1. Watch a bunch of art tutorials and speedpaints. It’s fine to borrow techniques from other artists and try it out on your art!

2. Use references! I heavily rely on references (because I still can’t fully understand anatomy). If you can’t find anything useful on google, you can download some modeling ref apps such as MagicPoser. Keep in mind that it can take time making the right pose. As for clothing, I tend to use myself and my mirror XD.

3. Play around with colors after your flats! If you’re a digital artist, create a clipping mask layer and use gradients of saturated colors. Then change the layer setting to “overlay” or something like that. Here’s an example of art with and without the clipping mask:

Took a break for finals (which straight up murdered me), and now I’m on winter break which means I finally gave time to draw :D
