My Dead Alibi- Reveal

Spent the majority of the year working on this project. And I am so excited to be able to reveal more about it now that I have made significant progress in the production process.

As a lifelong fan of things such as creepy story driven games, visual novels and dating simulators with an interesting premise, this game was an obvious combination of years loving the previous 3. Not to mention, with times as hard as these, you might as well pursue projects that you want to even though they look hopeless on paper. The best part of being stuck in a job market as bad as this, is that there is no more “safe options” so you might as well go for what you want.

The lore behind this image is truly insane - and I really do hope that more people played Surviving High school EA back in the day Sam Hill (girl in yellow) quits cheerleading due to mean girl abuse, and joins the swim team to refocus all of her anger regarding her boyfriend that cheated on her- becomes friends with the girls there including the super dedicated swim team captain Sara Kessler-Time passes, and sam finally gets a new boyfriend-Nick-on one occassion, sam offers sara nick’s help as a photographer to help her run for school president- only problem is that soon sara and nick grow closer-Almost kiss- someone takes a photo of it, and sam dumps him, and ofcourse stops being friends with sara. Nick helps Sara break free of her dad’s (swim team coach) control and perfectionism, and even helps her learn how to drive which she never knew before. But tragedy strikes, when they are suddenly hit with a massive storm, causing them to fall off a cliff, leading to nick being severely injured and sara dying.Sam ofcourse is hit with massive guilt after finding out, and later on even is promoted to team captain

Been on a Dispatch kick- in hopes of curing my art and posting slump while working in between. Love the friendship between Malevola and Sonar. Matter of fact its hard to choose my favorite character. Who is yours? Really hope they make a season 2 soon.

Here is the finished Rodrick and Regina Fan Made visual Novel with a 5 minute long story!.

This was so much fun to make! And such a fun and addicting ship too! Huge props to the artist MoniaLynn (https://www.instagram.com/monia_lynn?igsh=bDByMHV5aXBjeGVz) for being the first to make this ship so charming.

Apologies ahead of time, if some of the text is a bit fast paced, I know that since I have been making this, that I am biased when it comes to reading the text and knowing what it says much faster, than the person viewing it.

I have been a lifelong fan of visual novels, so it popped into my head to make the Rodrick x Regina come to life through an illustrated visual novel type. Everything from the backgrounds, to the bubbles, to the characters and their animations was so much fun to make I had a blast.

Initially I wanted to add soundbytes, since A HUGE chunk of the script was based off already existing sentences that the characters already said- but allas- my sound editing skills were very poor so I simply made it like this.

Out of all of the scenes with Hector, the moment he is realised and becomes human making him be happy with himself and his appearance, had to be my favourite part. The VA truly did an amazing job and I think is my hands down favorite character.
