I found a way to beat the fungal infection by teplight, I call it, the ring, the house is on a flat landscape, each ring 6 blocks out before the next one, the first one, or the prime defense, is water that pushes, raised up by one block to make a slope of water, with a wall behind it to prevent it going behind and boosting mobs if they make it over, so I can get through, but they cannot, the second ring, or the back up, is a wall of bamboo with slaba at the top to prevent climbing over, which will make he pathfinder act up, the final layer, the fire wall, is a 3 block wide, 4 block deep lava moat that will circle my base, and just in case some how some way it gets over run, it will have a emergency bunker, stocked full of food and supplies with even more defense, starting off with the first row, or the archery row, arrow traps, which would be hooked up with stone pressure plates, so I can jump over, but they get shot, the second row, or the bridge, will be a 4 by 25 angled bridge, so I can still shoot them off, without missing more then intended, which will be going over lava, 4 blocks deep, the final row, or as I like to call it, the dead stop, full dispensers in a 3 by 3 of arrows, all hooked up to one redstone clock that fire in sync, with another lava moat Infront of it, although expensive, if done in creative mode, it's a promise you'll be ALMOST impossible to reach (ps:sorry for no posts for a year or two, just moved to Michigan, life is at that point where your constantly getting backhanded with sh#t to do, but I will try to post when I see or do something interesting!) have fun with this info
