i feel like a lot of people tend to ignore the fact that zanka is a fucking asshole??? to like everyone he thinks is better than him?? he gets so much of the insecure weak sad boy characterization (or the polar opposite) that i see his blatant inferiority complex ignored almost outright in most stuff i see about him... this observation may be because i'm a persona fan (and spend too much time thinking about akechi) but his anger is fueled by his inferiority in such a way that makes him a cruel nuclear engine to anyone he slaps that "natural talent" label on, which we can see DURING HIS INTRO when he's talking to rudo-- already choosing to be a dick to him because of his supposed talent (which is then exacerbated by. accidently taking lovely.) ofc he backs off but when they start fighting he brings it up AGAIN. he also does this with jabber which is a bit more valid because he's a raider, BUT he also starts with that "dont look down on me bla bla bla" stuff and IT SPEAKS SO MUCH ON HOW HIS OWN THOUGHT PROCESS AFFECTS HIS RELATIONSHIPS!! he's so stuck inside his own perception of himself that he'll never make a friend that isn't willing to put up with his self destructive behavior!!! and when he does put those feelings aside he just keeps boiling over and being fucking mean to people!!!!! tldr i need people to start talking about zanka being a dick to people because its a direct representation of his mental state. hes like a hedgehog...........
