A while back I was asked to draw an interior and exterior illustration, and I spent 2 days drawing each illustration. I’ve never done something like this and was pushed out of my comfort zone which was a good thing! I want to start doing more perspective and background art and hopefully I will become more comfortable in the future.

As you can see when I was illustrating these 2 pieces I did enjoy doing what I was doing by adding in some stuff that makes me happy. ;) I don’t do well with things that I don’t enjoy.

When doing stuff you gotta at least make it fun and enjoyable!

Oh gawd, I’ve been in the thing called ‘Art Block’ meaning that I didn’t had any inspiration to draw. Here are some doodles of a mermaid called Moroven and a girl named Kensa.

I was drawing Moroven as a male and as I looked at the design brief it said Moroven is a female, so kinda messed up on the torso as the upper part is male and the lower part suddenly turned female (good gracious), but now I know and I’ll get there. (’ w ‘)b

Why did you choose Arutia as your username, instead of keeping cherri? I know Arutia is the name of one of your characters, but why did you choose it specifically for your user?

I feel that Arutia and me have a strong connection like she’s my persona or something (stuff this crap it’s suppose to be funny ha ha..), but in the end I just like the name Arutia.
