Asa/ Text: Have you seen the Dukeâs email?
[text]: Yes. I was planning on moving into the chateau in the mean time as per his request. Are you?
@asa-le-pennec
asa-le-pennecâ:
Text: Would you like to stay at my place for a bit instead?
Text: Not trying to rush things of course
Text: You could stay in my guest room even, if you prefer.
[text]: Yes. I would like that. [text]: If you would like the company.
Text: Iâd feel much better having you with me over you being at the chateau.
Asa/ Text: Have you seen the Dukeâs email?
[text]: Yes. I was planning on moving into the chateau in the mean time as per his request. Are you?
@asa-le-pennec
asa-le-pennecâ:
Text: I think the point is to make *you* feel more secure.
[text]: Yes, that as well. [text]: I could use the company right now. My place feels too empty.

@asa-le-pennec
Text: No
Text: How long are you planning to stay there?
[text]: I suppose until the all clear is given. [text]: if it makes him feel more secure to know his house is safe then I donât mind.

Text from Asa: Take the Duke up on his offer for at least a few weeks.
Text: Iâm not leaving Wendy alone in our apartment. Not until she has security at least.Â
@asa-le-pennec
asa-le-pennecâ:
Text: Well forgive me for not hiring a private investigator to tell me every detail of your life, kid.
Text: Sheâs not family so forgive me for not showing more interest.
Text: Not a fan, but Iâll let your parents deal with that answer.
Text: Itâs really not that much of a stretch to think youâd have met at some point.
Text: You only show interest in family?
Text: Iâll be fine and so will they.Â
Text: Iâm going to pretend youâre not insulted your *Uncle* doesnt socialize with your friends.
Text from Asa: Take the Duke up on his offer for at least a few weeks.

asa-le-pennecâ:
Text: Look at you making connections
Text: If sheâs involved with the head of a house, sheâll no doubt be looked out for. I wouldnât worry.
Text: Uh, Iâve been friends with Wendy since college
Text: See, if I am with her, then I will be too. Iâm not moving into the chateau. It will be crowded enough.
Text: Well forgive me for not hiring a private investigator to tell me every detail of your life, kid.

@asa-le-pennec
Text: Wendy?
Text: Cy probably wonât care if you bring her along to be honest.
Text: Yes, Wendy. My best friend. We live together.
Text: Sheâs seeing the Duchess of Nantes, I doubt her Grace wants her at the Maine chateau.Â
Text: Look at you making connections

Text: Cy probably wonât care if you bring her along to be honest.
Asa/ Text: As kind as the offer is, Iâm not moving into the damn chateau. Text: Make sure Nate and Liana move in.
Text: I figured youâd say as much.
Text: Either with me or with you. Liana is already here. Nate may be a harder sell.
Text: You all right, old man?
@asa-le-pennec
Text: Nate can shut up and tolerate it a little if he knows whatâs good for him. Iâll speak with him.
Text: Iâm fine.
Text/Asa: I just heard about what happenedâ are you okay?
[text]: I am uninjured, sir. Thank you. @asa-le-pennec
[Text] Crazy shit... I canât believe someone had the nerve to attempt something at that event of all places.
[Text] Iâm relieved youâre okay though. What are you up to today?
Text from Asa: Take a trip with me this weekend? We can drive to the coast and go sailing or even venture elsewhere by car if youâd like.
[text]: Yes. Of course. That sounds lovely. @asa-le-pennec
Text: Perfect
Text: Make sure to pack an overnight bagâ although we can leave early in the morning to return, if you canât afford to miss two days of work.
artyelianeâ:Â
âOh itâs a novel! Actually, itâs a rather brilliant novel. The main character is a girl who is a Punjabi girl in London who is struggling to figure out what she wants to do with her life, and signs up to teach what she thinks is going to be a creative writing course. Only the women who signed up for the class donât know how to read or write English at all. Things happen, and all of these widows start to tell stories about their lives and their fantasies. And yes, the sexy stories are very sexy and as the reader it is up to you what you do with them,â Elle said with a twinkle in her eye as she remembered them.
âBut the real point of the story is actually that all of these women start to find a lot more confidence in themselves through this storytelling. Itâs a lot of exploration of cultural and generational differences. Especially considering the group of young Doms who designated themselves the culture and morality police and start threatening some of the women for their involvement in this, partially to hide their connection to some of the darker results of that particular culture. So now Iâm full of new sexy stories and inspiration to take control of my life and live my truth and all of that sort of thing.â
Asa blinked, silent for a moment at Elleâs rather lengthly reply. âWell thatâs.. some summary,â he responded with a nod. âIâm not much of a reader myself, but if you enjoyed it,â he added with a shrug. âYou know... You should really get to know some of the other fellas in my house if youâre that much of a bookworm. Plenty of single ones, much more into reading than myself.â
asa-le-pennecâ:
âA little,â Asa commented. âWeatherâs been nice, but havenât had time for anything other than a few weekend trips. Iâm hoping to go mid August maybe for a week⌠Would love a little company on a future trip if youâre up for it thoughâ even if itâs just a day trip.â
âI understand, sir.â He nodded his head and offered the man a smile. âIâm nearly finished training up my new manager⌠I think I could steal away for a day or two if you would like to have me.â Maxim in particular liked the idea of going on a trip with Asa.
The response brought a smile to Asaâs face, delighted more than he realized about Max agreeing to the idea. âWell... great thenâ yeah. Just send me your availability for the next few weekends and Iâll try to line up a weekend trip for us,â he responded, jokingly adding, âHopefully you donât get sea sick.â
emeline-of-anjouâ:
Emeline huffed a laugh and nodded. âIt is nuts, but it does help people in a lot of ways. Small businesses can reach loads more people, and it helps people with the same interests connect. Itâs not all bad depending on how itâs used.â There were plenty of people that misused it though, so it made sense that some people didnât trust or like it.
âIâm not sure I buy the same interests bit-- I tried enough of those dating apps over the years once I thought I was ready for that nonsense again, but it was always just a mess. Folks are just looking for hookups and scenes anymore on them,â Asa added, admitting a small glimpse into his personal life. âWhat is it you said you did again for a living?â
