The Eldest caught Venigni by the collar and hoisted him up, nose to bunny mask. The tips of Venigni’s dress shoes dragged on the ground.

“You horrible fancy twit, you’ve made my sister distraught.”

The girl standing at his side hesitated, then tugged his sleeve. Venigni and Eldest looked at her. “What’s distraught mean?”

“Depressed,” he said.

“Um?”

“Sad.”

“Oh! That’s so true. I’m real sad.”

“Erm. Pardon, but. She does not appear to be particularly upset?” Venigni hazarded, pulling against the man’s forearms. His feet dangled uselessly.

“Boo bloody hoo.” She made a rubbing-at-her-eyes-to-remove-tears gesture, smirking up at him.

(i went with a beige head and black body this time) (i also made the body a little smaller so she wouldn't be taller than the Maniac lol)

(mask embroidery process) (for her right eye, i glued semi-transparent fabric on the bottom (2 layers) and stitched the lines with white thread; for the left eye, i just glued on a plastic piece like with the boys' masks)

Overall, her design (and especially the mask!) was so much more complicated than the boys' 😵 She has two different eyes, the hat, the monocle chain, the jabot, and fancy sleeves AND the belts on one ear (for whatever reason). BUT I still had a lot of fun working on all the details, and I think she turned out cute😌

She's still missing the belt over her shoulder, but I'll add it once I find the right material 🤔
