i remember getting into an argument with someone last year whose case was basically "can't ralsei just be a feminine boy???" and it's like. i can't imagine thinking that this character arc about someone who feels trapped in their role as the fated (male) prince who is prophecized to save the world would be better if their gender identity just stayed the exact same for the whole story. waiter get me a "defying the prophecy" arc with no radical self-determination please. and hold the transgender subtext
