WHY NO ON SCREEN KISS? WHY NO PROPER MAKE UP? FUUUUUUUU-
After the tragic ending of good omens 2 I expected good omens 3 to be a nicely wrapped up gift to the fans.
For the record, I loved the finale nonetheless, but it was still pretty disappointing.
There were a couple glaring problems like the lack of a plot and short run time, but for the means they were given, it was fine. I'm just glad this show came to an end
But why the FUCK was there no on screen kiss. There were so many times an on screen kiss would've been perfect, and yet all we got was basically scraps and concepts.
The theme of free will and choosing your own destiny instead of having your fate chosen by an omnipotent being was a good start, but there were so many ways to utilise crowley and aziraphale's relationship to support this theme.
Their relationship fundamentally goes against the norm and what was "planned." The show makes sure that the viewers know that crowley and aziraphale's friendship is not something that should've even happened.
... also what purpose did Jesus serve? He was so hyped up then just turned out to be just some guy who could feed the hungry. He could've been utilised in so many ways, like make him realise how horrible the world is or something idk. He feels like a plot B that never got to develop.
All in all I think the finale should 100000000% been in episodes. It was way to short, too rushed, and too aimless.
I like that crowley and aziraphale meet in the other universe too. That was nice
