After the season 15 finale, I could see the possibility of Michael being brought back by Jack. Adam, no doubt, he's back.

So, this proposes 2 situations:

1. Is angsty

Adam is brought back, and he looks for Michael. He calls out Michael's name, praying for him, but nothing comes of it because Michael is still in the empty. Adam is left just as devastated as Michael when Adam was snapped out of existence. (Oh how the turns have tabled)

2. This is my preferred ending (hurt comfort)

Both Adam and Michael are brought back. Michael is returned to earth along Adam's body and he's sad because he still thinks Adam is gone. But he quickly realises that Adam is there.

As soon as Michael feels Adam's presence again, staring back at him, he realises the wrong he has done in grief. Michael had willingly returned to God despite what Adam said and tried to help him end the world.

The guilt is eating him alive because he could've never seen Adam again if God succeeded. As he's spiralling, Adam comforts him, saying he forgives him (the irony is that an archangel is being forgiven for a wrongful act). They have a little emotional moment together and they live happily ever after yippee 🎉🎉🎉

Y’all, I have this midam fic idea I wanna write. Like a CEO au with like a bunch of characters and I don’t know where to start. I don’t wanna miss-characterize any of the characters. But I wanna sooo bad. And I don’t know the first thing about how company’s fuckin work. Idk what to do, I wanna contribute to my fellow midam community. Especially now since I’ve got the inspiration and energy to do it. And time since it’s winter break. I wanna make it into a long chaptered one too. Ughhhh it’s gonna be my first fic if I do write it and I have no idea how to write it cuz it’s been so long since I’ve watched spn. And someone help meeeeee😭😭

"It was crazy, snow everywhere..." Adam had been telling one of his stories again. Micheal loved his stories. Adam didn't have a fantastic memory unless it came to stories about his childhood and his mother. He hadn't remembered that he'd told his story already four times. But Micheal didn't care and didn't tell him. He loved this story.

He had been listening intently until he sensed something and immediately tensed up and his expression turned dark and cold.

"And-" Adam paused, noticing how Micheal tensed. "What is it?" he asked. Micheal didn't answer but instead took over Adams body. He felt something that he felt like he couldn't stop. He inverted into the mind scape as well and wrapped his grace around Adam tight. Suffocatingly tight.

"Hey what's going on?!"

No response. Micheal was too busy trying to hold onto Adam and protect him from whatever was coming. Then there was a light rumbling. He tightened his grace.

Adam don't move at all.

Adam obliged blindly. He trusted that Micheal wouldn't let anything happen to him. He knew it. Then..micheal heard something he never wanted to hear. Screaming. Adams screaming.

Then it was silent. But something was wrong. Something was so wrong. The vessel felt empty..

Adam?

....

Adam.

......

Adam was gone. Micheal was alone in the vessel. He felt so. Gross. It took a second for the initial shock to settle in. And then it finally did. Micheal truly did want to cry but something told him he couldn't. He never could. He wasn't allowed. It wasn't written for his character.

He sat down and stared off into nothing. Feeling empty and alone. Not hearing Adams voice. He felt mad but at himself. He still felt mad at whoever did this but it's mostly his fault. Or at least that's what he told himself. He told himself it was his fault he didn't protect Adam better.

I wish you would've finished that story.

So I ended up rewriting the epilogue chapter of my Midam fic because it had been haunting me!! Still shorter than the other chapters but it’s got a bit more depth now :P

Summary:  

Michael is the Archangel King of Katol, a kingdom in Solace.

A decade ago, Katol was cursed by the Warlock Medraut. Every angel within the kingdom must soul bond with a human. Otherwise, the angel will suffer persistent illness. 

A black unicorn– a human who can transform– from Solace can break the curse.

One night, a 20-year old Adam collapses outside Michael’s palace.

With Adam, Michael can be freed of the sickness through soul bonding. 

But Adam has a secret.

Because, to Michael’s surprise, the Warlock Medraut didn't destroy every black unicorn in the world of Solace after all.

Excerpt:

Adam bowed his head to him. “Thank you, Your Majesty… Michael…” he finished, saying his name tentatively.

He opened the door and looked back at Michael.

Adam said in a solemn voice, “Good night, Your Majesty.”

“Good night, Adam. Sleep well.”

Michael watched him walk out of his room.

“I wish you would not leave,” Michael said quietly to himself. 

Perhaps this was weak of him. As a King and an Archangel– leader of angels– he should not be so attached to one human man. 

But his heart steered him toward Adam. The bit of soul he had within him– as all angels had a soul even if their grace was the greater part of their essence– grew happy when Adam was near. Even before Michael soul bonded with the human.

Michael desired to listen to his heart.

He felt himself growing hot and there was an irritating tickle in his throat. He coughed, realizing the faulty soul bond was failing as he had told Adam. He sat on the edge of his bed, hand over his mouth as a painful coughing fit seized him, making his chest hurt.

He prayed the man would soon be willing to trust Michael enough to permit a proper soul bond.

Michael feared he could not take another ten years of this persistent sickness.
