Pics I took at the gorgeous Olšany Cemetety in Prague.

My bf and I went on a perfect autumn evening on All Saints day, and the cemetery was full of Czech people lighting candles and saying prayers for their deceased relatives. It really was touching and the views and monuments were breathtakingly beautiful.

The cemetery is filled with tons of lush greenery and trees, so when you walk in the air is surprisingly fresh and clear and cool. There are over 200k graves there, and they date back to plague victims from the 1700s and officers and soldiers buried there following the Napoleonic Wars. Such a peaceful and hauntingly atmospheric place! It makes you feel like a character in a gothic novel.
