Natural Light

A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to work as part of a team on the visuals for Porter Robinson’s worlds tour.

At the same time, I was making a huge move to another country - a step in my life I was feeling pretty scared about, for various reasons.

The music tracks I was designing for had themes of loneliness and isolation, but also of safety, courage, and self-discovery. Working on them became a helpful point of focus in a stressful period.

It was pretty incredible afterwards to find clips of Porter’s live shows, with him and thousands of people silhouetted against art I had contributed to, along with hearing the art that inspired it. 

Having rediscovered his music recently, I felt compelled to draw something in appreciation and acknowledgement of that time.

So 3 days ago, i decided to book a ticket to krabi. Return of course haha. It was a very spontaneous and impulsive thing to do. Crazy, but i loved it. I havent been this impulsive and spontaneous in a very long time. After doing so, i felt like i was going with the flow, like the plague that was blocking my soul from living was removed and i am actually living again. I cant wait to be on the beaches and just lay there and relaxxxx under the sun, the palms trees mmhm :)))))))
