[she has witnessed his moping and is not pleased] [so she sits herself down in front of him and takes his hand and addresses him very sternly] North, baby. What’s going on with you?
[slurring, but trying very hard not to because cha boi is the drunkest Felix has ever seen him and he doesn’t want her to think he’s messy] ’M angry. At Tex. She was nyasty to me as a, uh, a defection. [he means deflection]
[she can tell he’s drunk] [and that wouldn’t usually be a cause for concern per say but he’s worried about his whole general… vibe]
I’m not sure what that means, honey. [squeezes his hand] What happened with Tex?
She’s. [gesticulates with the bottle] I, I, uh, I talked to her. About Tasha. And… [sighs in frustration]
[slurred but with his words more easily flowing:] Вы говорите по-Русский?
Ah, I see. [purses her lips and nods a little] I understand enough to get by, as long as you don’t mind me responding in English.
[sighs in relief and keeps going in Russian that I’m going to type in English because I do not speak even a little Russian]
I told her I was upset about her breaking off with me and getting together with my sister without telling me. She said I was only bringing it up to pick a fight.
Mm… well, that’s not very fair. I think you have a right to tell her how you feel, especially if she hurt you in some way. [squeezes his hand in hers] I don’t know exactly what kind of relationship you two had. Was it the sort of thing where maybe she thought she didn’t need to tell you?
Maybe if she had just broken it off. If she decided she just didn't want to do it anymore. That'd be fine. A notice still would be nice, but it's rude, at worst.
But that's not what happened. She dropped me for my sister without warning either of us.
[sighs] We weren't romantic. I'm not secretly pining for her. It was just a terrible thing to do, and somehow when I point that out, I'm the bad guy.
