In true chaotic fashion, I’ve been on quite the journey and rather busy behind the scenes over the past year. I’ve been holding on to this for months, so I’m thrilled to finally be one step closer to sharing Veda and Hiram – plus Antaris, the magic and lore of this world, and Proventia. I can’t wait to unravel this mystery with you.

Sight Unseen has lived in my head and heart for a long time. It’s not a rewrite, it's a love letter to the heart of a certain very long fic of mine. It means the world to be able to bring it into yours as my debut novel.

I’ve been asked about publishing in the past, and since writing began as an outlet for me, I always believed it was out of reach, so this whole experience has been surreal and humbling – filled with plenty of silent screaming (like my screaming cat PFP) but also so much joy in exploring my creativity.

I wouldn’t be here without so many wonderful people: my agent, who has brainstormed with me, believed in this book, and guided me through every step of the process; my family and friends, who kept me sane and yelled at me to hydrate along the way (I’d name them all, but there’s a word count limit, I’m sure). My editors and the entire team at 47North, who truly saw my vision and helped me carry it across the finish line and into life. And lastly, every fellow member of fandom -reader, writer, and lurker who supported my chaotic shenanigans (wordiness and all).

Draco’s lips brushed across her cheek as her hands twisted into his shirt. His mouth, finally over hers, it was everything he’d been fantasizing about. A warm and silky caress, puzzle pieces made to fit. A small sound in the back of her throat encouraged his hand to slide further. His palm lay against her neck, thumb grazing over Hermione’s jaw. The touch had her lips parting on a soft sigh and Draco’s did too. The way his survival hinged on her own exhale in that fraction of a second was surely its own religion. 

How the mouth catalogued taste was a science Draco vowed to study because when the tip of his tongue swept slowly across her bottom lip the sweetness that burst through him had him wondering if God made Hermione a sacred fruit hidden from the world. And how was he worthy to know her taste?
