are-men-talking-too-much - time who's dominating the conversation
âŚ
When the conversation is the interface, experience design is all about crafting the right words.
Howdy, Botkit, etc.
Abi Jones compares human-to-human and human-computer conversation and interaction to explain how their differences impact system design. Learn what makes for great human-computer speech interaction...
Juuuust missed it.
If you donât know Radiolab already â I urge you to check it out.
What can machines tell us about being human?
An exhibition reflects on the relationship between man and machine at the Disseny Hub Barcelona.
TS - The light sample program on PureData
The switch seems to work but not with the LED....

Queer spaces in cities are not defined by the mere presence of gays, lesbians and transgenders, but by how we are living in that space
The 2014 online hate-storm presaged the tactics of the Trump-loving far right movement. Prominent critics of the president elect should take note
This is "Best Flamewar Ever (HD) (Eddo Stern 2007)" by Eddo Stern on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.
Top inspiration this semester, I guess...
Inconvenient
Poland is located in the center of Europe, which was rather inconvenient during World War II.
Encountered some new hilarity today.
When I try to channel some Dunne & Raby

Questions
Questions as goals:
How does, should, or could Participatory Design intersect with critical design, speculative design, feminist HCI, action research, design fictions, HCI for peace, and so forth?
How can Participatory Design help designers move from helping people do what they are already doing towards helping them make better decisions in future projects?

Project References
Not references really. More like goals.
ACM TOCHI - Re-imagining Participatory Design http://tochi.acm.org/re-imagining-participatory-design/ - I frankly donât think Iâm upto this but it sounds like a good goal to work towards. Also, it is exactly the theme I want to work under!
XCOAX -Â http://xcoax.org/Â - Because it will be in Lisbon. Hehe. No seriously, it is broad enough to fit my work, so why not?!
Schloss Post -Â http://schloss-post.com/Â - a new extension of the amazing Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart
And now for some real references & inspirations:

Projekt Ideen. Oder?
So pausing K-drama helped improve my thought-flow. No surprises there. On another note, I realised my blog needs to be more project reporting and less crabby diary entry. Iâm humbled by the reference collecting efforts of my classmates. I donât know how to do that. I mean I normally look for references after I have an idea in my head.
Anyway.
