Cecelia smirked, mentally taking note of his gesture. “Ah, I see.” The girl quirked a brow at him. “How much trouble?” Her eyes scanned the room. “Seeing as you’re of about three other customers here–not too much. Why?” She asked, tilting her head to the side.
Asher looked around, glancing from left to right for a moment. He truly was one of a handful of customers. “I’m a chatty drinker, and I don’t think that old guy over there with the American flag windbreaker on is going to talk to me.” Asher grinned a little as he nodded towards the other end of the bar. “So you’re the next best option, if you don’t mind.”
“I lost a bet.”
“I thought you were just starting a new crop top trend.”

☹ A thought that makes them sad:The fact that the chance of him ever seeing his mother again is extremely low, and that he may also never know what became of her.

☁ How they feel about cold weather:Asher has a love/hate relationship with cold weather. He loves the snow but hates being cold. As long as he’s indoors or having fun outside, cold weather is fine with him.
✖ A trait they despise in people:Unreliability. Sure, Asher can space out on responsibilities sometimes but when he promises someone that he’ll do something, it’ll get done. He hates when people are fickle with their promises.

Delilah let out a slight yelp in surprise as she managed to stable herself before she went tumbling face first into the pavement. “Oh Jesus.” she muttered, not in anger or anything similar, but in remorse, she’d been standing in the middle of the path and this kid had ran straight into her back, not paying attention. “You okay kid?” she questioned lightly, placing her hands on her thighs as she leant over to peer at his face. “Need a hand?” she questioned again, holding out said hand for him.
A hand was being offered to him but he just stared at for a few moments. He blinked a few times but he was still a little dazed. He let out a huff and finally reached out to take the hand. Not one to whine, Asher gritted his teeth as he got to his feet. He felt a dull pain in his right knee but he was just lucky that he hadn’t hurt his face too bad. “Thanks.” Asher said it sullenly as he started to brush himself off. His cheeks were flushed pink from a mixture of embarrassment and the humidity in the air. Mostly embarrassment. “You okay?” She hadn’t ended up on the ground but he had kind of mowed her down from his lack of awareness.
“Guys, I hate to break it to you, but the gym is a terrible place and nothing good happens there.”
“I wouldn’t say nothing good happens. I’ve seen some beautiful girls there before. They could all probably kick my ass but that’s beside the point.”

Shutting the door of her car Delilah couldn’t help the small smile of satisfaction settle across her lips as she looked upon her new street. She was home, back in Charleston, after three years away and it seemed like it had yet to change. Except now, she was single, unmarried, and although the thought was still a little painful, she was home. “Home, Sweet home.” she mused quietly to herself.
Asher was regretting skipping over public transportation in favor of walking home from work. His music was blaring through his headphones so he was deaf to the world. He also wasn’t one to pay close attention to his surroundings while he was mentally rocking out, so when he bumped into someone he didn’t have time to brace himself. He landed on the sidewalk face first and contemplated just laying there indefinitely. “I just hit a brick wall.” He said it to no one in particular, but he knew whoever he had bumped into was still there. Unless it really was a brick wall. He hadn’t gotten a chance to see on his way down.
“I found a twenty dollar bill on my way into work this morning, so basically, I’d say that I’m having just about the best Monday in the history of all Mondays.”
“Unless there’s a mystery disease on it and you turn into patient zero for the zombie apocalypse.”
