Little Shadow: Asher suffers from splitting headaches, seizures and black outs, it’s not until a doctor’s appointment with a neurologist when the doctor notices the golf ball sized shadow on his MRI scan everything for Asher and his girlfriend Katie changes.
Asher grew up in a house where his family and friends hardly supported his dreams. He grew used to not ever achieving enough for them, them only proud when the things he achieved were what they wanted, and completely ignored everything else going on in his life. His only getaway was making videos in his room and around Boston for a YouTube channel he started up with his best friend, Hayden Fairchild, and two boys they met online. They started off just posting weekly videos of themselves, talking, giving advice and doing stupid things and grew more and more popular. Asher suffered from depression during his adolescence, and even attempted suicide at age sixteen, his best friend Hayden stopping him and getting him the help he needed since his family was still clueless to everything going on in his life. After his suicide attempt Hayden made sure Asher had the help and care he needed, Asher seemingly getting better when his first love, Jeanette came into his life. At age eighteen he graduated with a GPA so high that he earned a scholarship for a free ride in whatever major he wanted at the University of Harvard, which he turned down right away. All Asher really wanted to do was to be a tattoo artist and run his YouTube channel, but his family did not support him what so ever, and neither did Jeanette when he asked her to move to LA with him and Hayden. So after many fights, Asher packed his bags and left without a goodbye to live his life in LA, where he is still living happily with his group of friends.
Asher is an extremely friendly individual, he has no problem speaking to anyone and is always offering small talk to people he meets, whether it be in his college class or bumping into someone at the grocery store. But while his sociable manner is warm and friendly, he also can be a bit of a douche, typically joking around and making jokes at other people’s expense, always in a sarcastic tone of course. He typically doesn’t want people to take his mean or even brash comments to heart, it’s just how he was raised, a sense of vulgarity that is completely normal and acceptable behavior to him and his group of friends. He does attempt to better himself, especially around new people, but tends to come off as a huge asshole, making most people very unsure about him when they first meet. Most people tend to judge him before knowing him, seeing his tattoos and attitude and labeling him as a bad boy, and while he could definitely be labeled as such, he has his morals and never strays to far from them. Asher, since Jeanette, tended to stray away from dating like he did before he met the girl, but since meeting Katie he’s buckled down and focused solely on her. But his personality with girls still has not change, Katie accepting of his attitude and sex drive, and meeting it full on since the two of them are so very similar. Asher is very temperamental, and when drunk his aggression increases tenfold, making him a less then pleasant person to anger in a bar. But having him as a friend mean that he will be completely loyal to you, and will always be there when you need him, and especially if you are dealing with something serious. Asher still has times where he feels depressed, finding out that he does suffer from clinical depression and is medicated for it. But since moving to LA he’s gotten much better, and is much happier than he was living in Boston with his family.
