Let me be your shelter
A world with no more night
And you always beside me
To hold me and to hide me
Help i cannot stop thinking about this movie (and cannot resist but to add all i ask of you lyrics but it's matches them so much). Also idk should i clarify that the pattern between the wings is a really heavy stylization of a spine??? Anyway now you know
he's drowning his maker in the sims
Now, you must unmake me

[ voice ] sender tries to speak to receiver and fails — from vedia!
He is a ghost, lingering in shadows. A figure in the corner of the eye, gone before there's a second glance. He's travelled far, across vast oceans and great landscapes, never staying too long in one place lest the locals get too curious and ask too many questions.
Assumptions surrounding his strange appearance have made him a soldier, suffering catastrophic injuries to his face and body. He would neither confirm or deny these whispers, simply decide it was time to move on to the next place on the map which piqued his interest.
Recent travels have washed him to the shores of New England, in particular a township nestled in a cove. He thinks it's perhaps a little peculiar, the folk are somewhat superstitious, although for those people who spend their lives upon the sea he supposes that this isn't unusual.
Coeur's Cove has been his home for a little over a month, he keeps himself to himself and bothers no-one. The proprietor of the playhouse taking pity on the old soldier, offering him lodgings and employment after hours in his establishment, Adam's great strength proving invaluable in moving scenery and heavy lighting.
He enjoys the theater as much as he enjoys getting lost in books, and here he can watch unnoticed from the catwalks overhead. Every night there is a performance, Adam is there.
This particular night's performance had its curtain call over an hour ago. The hum of the audience faded into peaceful quiet, and the lights had been replaced by darkness. This left Adam to carry out his nightly duties unseen, taking less care to hide his unusual appearance as he would beyond the safety of the theatre walls. No scarf to conceal his face, nor the long coat which draped over his elongated frame. He dressed comfortably and modestly as would any man of the time involved in manual labour. The patchwork of his face and forearms plain to see, however as he worked alone, there would be no-one to bear witness to it.
------------
She's not supposed to be here, no one is supposed to be here. And yet she's stood before him, eyes wide and with words stuck in her throat. Or maybe it's a scream. She would be forgiven if it were, startled by the strangest of strangers late at night anyone would probably react in the same manner.
"F-forgive me.." he stammers in a hushed tone, and backing away slowly into the shadows from where he'd emerged. "My presence has alarmed you. I- I shall take my leave."
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL ASEXUALITY DAY (LATE AF BECAUSE NO ONE TOLD ME BUT ANYWAY LETS FUCKING GOOO) 🖤🩶🤍💜

❝ i can’t believe it’s really you. ❞
❝ i thought about this moment more times than i can count. ❞
❝ you look… the same. a little different. still the same, though. ❞
❝ i didn’t realize how much i missed you until now. ❞
❝ i didn’t know it would feel like this. ❞
❝ i was afraid you wouldn’t be here. ❞
❝ i’ve waited a long time for this. ❞
❝ i don’t know what to say, i just— ❞
❝ i didn’t think i’d ever see you again. ❞
❝ you’re really here. ❞
❝ i held onto the idea of you. ❞
❝ i didn’t know how much i needed this. ❞
❝ it feels like coming home. ❞
❝ i never stopped missing you. ❞
❝ i thought i’d moved on. i hadn’t. ❞
❝ i don’t want to let go again. ❞
❝ you’re still my person. ❞
❝ i kept hoping. ❞
❝ i don’t care how long it’s been. ❞
❝ seeing you makes everything else fade. ❞
❝ i’ve carried you with me this whole time. ❞
❝ i didn’t realize how much space you left behind. ❞
❝ i don’t need answers right now. just this. ❞
❝ we’re here. that’s what matters. ❞

"When I looked around I saw and heard of none like me. Was I, then, a monster, a blot upon the earth, from which all men fled and whom all men disowned?”
-The Creature, Frankenstein
Some Liz 'n Adam ballpoint pen scribbles I forgot to post! I'm probably going to make the top right one into a bigger, full piece. They need to be fine. They need to kiss and be fine. I need them to kiss and be fine.
