I know this is old news but the way people reacted is just disgusting. I personally like Leafy's content, especially in the later years off his channel and the facecam stuff. Just because someone makes had content, doesn't mean that their channel should be banned. I'm gonna try and write from the most neutral point of view (on his content) as possible. If you don't like his content: okay. If you like his content: okay. If you don't know who the fuck he is: what the fuck are you doing with your life?
For YouTube to terminate a channel, their must be three strikes already on said channel. There were no strikes, no warnings, no explanations, no emails, no prior problems, no flagged videos in particular, nothing. He just woke one day and his channel was gone. This goes against YouTube's policies. They HAVE to give a reason. Many people make theories about what the reason even was, but they're just that, theories. The most popular of those theories being he made videos bullying children. If that was the case he'd been banned a LONG time ago. There are SO many channels on YouTube who make fun of children. There are SO many channels on YouTube who are actual pedophiles. People who use their platform to use their underaged audience. People who upload pedophilic content to YouTube. These channels get promoted by YouTube. YouTube doesn't fuckin care about that. Another popular theory is that he got banned for being too edgy. Again, if that was the case he'd been banned a LONG time ago. He matured and calmed the fuck down (he wasn't even that edgy in the first place). I don't think his channel got banned by Pokimane simps mass flagging. I don't think his channel get banned for saying slurs (it'd be fuckin retarded if it was). But what do I know? What does anyone know? What does YouTube know? NOTHING! They're establishing that they can terminate any channel they want and they don't even need to say why. Why should they? If a large amount of people hate a channel, they'll all side with YouTube. Someone put years of their life into their channel, YouTube doesn't care. They can delete ANY channel they want. And people celebrate this? This is so fuckin retarded. YouTube allows actual bigotry, hate speech, pedophilia, actual criminals (like sssniperwolf), gambling being advertised to children, hard-core pron, the filming of dead bodies, ect. But no, they're gonna focus on wrongfully terminating people and with no fuckin reason. Just think what else they'll do.
There are so many watered down Leafy clones nowadays on YouTube that have alot less editing then he did. He didn't get banned for repetitive content. I know I sound like a fuckin spazz but uh. They're kinda deleting history in a way. You can now only watch his videos through re-uplouds (that are allowed on YouTube for some reason). If he got banned for any specific videos, they woulda been flagged.
