{♞ } —— Edward smiled softly at the pecks when his cheeks flushed at the affection — something he hadn’t felt in so long before he cleared his throat. “Are you sure your parents won’t find me a burden? Should I dress a certain way? What if they think low of me? What if I say something stupid?” He rambled with worried eyes and didn’t stop.

       Instead of hushing the boy up like a normal person would, Milo leaned his head down and pressed a kiss to Edward's lips. He cupped both sides of his neck with his hands and let the kiss linger just a little, humming into his mouth. His fingers slid up into the boy's hair and he sighed, "Stop worrying so much," He whispered. "I don't know why they'd think low of you. You haven't done anything wrong...nor would you be a burden in their household. And you won't say anything stupid."

{♞ } —— Edward’s eyes widened as he listened to him and he swallowed thickly as he looked into Milo’s eyes and nodded softly before he wrapped his arms around his waist and hugged him tightly, burying his face in the boy’s warm neck and kissing the soft skin in appreciation before pulling away. “Thank you.” He said sheepishly. 

       Milo let out a quiet sigh when he felt Edward's kisses on his neck and he wrapped his arms around the other boy's own neck to hold himself close. He sucked his bottom lip between his teeth and shrugged, "No need for thanks, babe," He said quietly and pressed a kiss to his temple. "You certainly deserve it." He smiled warmly and pecked a kiss to Edward's nose.

         "I'm not saying you are a charity case. You're my new friend that hasn't had a good Christmas before...or in a long time, and I want you to have one this year. No one works on Christmas, Edward. And if you really have to, you're still coming over to my parent's place afterward." He climbed into the boy's lap and took his face between his hands. "Got it, buddy?" He asked, looking him in the eye.
