i wanna shake my ass to new order as god INTENDED.
Moments like tonight serve as a reminder that music itself is magic.
It's nostalgic. It makes you yearn. It puts things into perspective. It connects. It unites. It expresses. It transcends barriers. It heals.
I'll make sure to never forget any of that as I continue my own musical journey. 🎹 💕
Programme: Shostakovich - Violin Concerto No. 1 + Symphony No. 7 "Leningrad"
Music in the video: Type O Negative "Santana Medley"
Is it wrong to say that Ben Stone is so babygirl
Now imagine Rafael Barba moving to Chicago and Become the ADA, working with Hank Voight, now that's something fun to watch
Those two strong personalitys will blow chicago pd
There's always a middle age powerful man that makes everything better in a TV SHOW.
My weekend was a damn good one ✨
To hear Shostakovich's metal-like String Quartet No. 8 and wistful Piano Trio No. 2 in one weekend was just incredible. He's kinda been on my mind a lot lately.
Went in blind (or deaf?) (SORRY BEETHOVEN) for the two Beethoven pieces, and they were just beautifully performed. ❤️
I had booked the tickets back in June 2025, and now the weekend's come and gone. 🥺
I also remembered about this cool-as-hell image in regards to this weekend:
Just nice that I finished making my giant-ass bookmark for the giant-ass Elizabeth Wilson book (lmao).
Anyways, it's been 50 years since we lost Shostakovich. His music is more relatable to us now more than ever.
I'd like to think that Shosty would have appreciated the metal genre (considering that bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, etc. were already making music while he was still alive!). And let's be honest: Shosty's music is pretty damn headbang-worthy.
His music will always be performed, celebrated, respected, honored, and loved - and I hope he knows that, wherever he is.
DSCH forever 🤍
DONT EVEN TALK TO ME BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN JUN WITH SURVIVORS GUILT IS CANON
THE POOR BABY BOI
I can't believe I posted about the DSCH mirror keychain I had made, but didn't post about the bead bracelet I myself made, along with the cigarette charm (lol).
Was a little drunk when I decided to make my own cig charm out of paper and resin (please don't drink and do crafts, kids, I am but a millennial who is tired of life). Then I had to remake it but version 2 ciggie looks nicer!
Now the bracelet is stacked with my Felix Mendelssohn Violin Concerto one and my New Order True Faith one. ✌🏾
Went to run my side business, ended up spending money at other people's businesses (of course). Had this cutie made.
RIP Dmitri Shostakovich you would’ve loved 6 Flags
Happy Birthday to French violinist Christian Ferras (17 June 1933 – 14 September 1982).
His agony was unmistakable towards the end of this 2nd movement.
Wherever he is now, I hope his broken world has healed.
The early-20s-Ash in me is beyond happy, because early-20s-Ash had a big stupid crush on Brett.
Some of my fav moments from the job hunting livestream.
I felt like everytime I looked up from doing my work, I would see new meme-worthy faces from God's favourite unemployed idiots.
I don't think much practising happened during what they originally said was a practising livestream.
Somehow, my generally unlucky butt got to be one of the 50 people to get to meet Kahchun Wong and Gerhard Oppitz last week. 😭
I got to tell Gerhard Oppitz that I loved his Schumann recordings; he put his hand over heart and gave me a soft smile. 😭😭
Shout out to the staff who took a quick video for me; I did not expect that! You're the real mvp. ❤️
how do you do, fellow Creatives™
that's the spirit!!!!
