He felt a slight attraction between his box of cupcakes and the stranger, so he lifted the lid and held it out to the other expectantly, waiting for him to pick his favorite imperfect dessert. “You do hair!” Levi repeated with excitement, “That’s so cool! There’s plenty of shows about people doing hair! You must be so good at it! Do you do your own hair?” Levi smiled at the other and shook his head. “I’m a teacher! Kindergarten and Preschool on weekdays, Sunday school on weekends. Lots and lots and lots of kids and all of them are precious in their own special way. You should come for career day!”
Ash’s face lit up and he happily picked one out, carefully taking a bite without making too much of a mess. “Mhm,” he nodded, swallowing the bite. “Thanks, I try. Sometimes I want someone else to do mine, but normally I cut it myself. Do you dye your own hair blonde? I could touch it up for you if you ever need a professional.” He arched a brow lightly at the mention of Sunday school, but brushed off his knee-jerk judgement quickly. “Wow, you stay busy! Not that I’d be against it, but what exactly would I be doing for a career day? Showing pictures? That sounds a little boring.”
