look @ us, jumping on the bandwagon. the idea of a doodle pack was obviously inspired by @allyofrps​ & @alyofrp​. anyway yes we wanted to do a doodle pack too, just because they seem to be very popular atm  + we use a lot of doodles, so why not ?! hope you like it !! 

this pack contains 42 png doodles for your icons, graphics + gifs - if you want to request a second pack, please send us an ask !!

all of the png’s are saved into a psd file and are categorized according to the type of doodle they are (hearts, stars, circles etc - each folder file is named accordingly so they aren’t hard to find). the original size of each doodle is 500x500px so they’re very easy to resize to fit any image !!

to customize color of graphic: layer → layer styles → color overlay. 

you can also add shadows, strokes + other overlays to the doodles if you so wish !!

these were all drawn by + are property of vcnilla so pls DON’T reupload to any other packs or anything - they’re only doodles man, don’t be that petty !!

Writing a novel when you imagine all you stories in film format is hard because there’s really no written equivalent of “lens flare” or “slow motion montage backed by Gregorian choir”

You can get the same effect of a lens flare with close-detail descriptions, combined with breaks to new paragraphs.

Your slow-motion montage backed by a Gregorian choir can be done with a few technques that all involve repetition.

First is epizeuxis, the repeating of a word for emphasis.

Example:

Falling. Falling. Falling. There was nothing to keep Marie from plunging into the rolling river below. She could only hope for a miracle now, that she would come out alive somehow despite a twenty-foot drop into five-foot-deep water.

Then there’s anaphora, where you write a number of phrases with the same words at the beginning.

There were still mages out there living in terror of shining steel armor emblazoned with the Sword of Mercy.

There were still mages out there being forced by desperation into the clutches of demons.

There were mages out there being threatened with Tranquility as punishment for their disobedience, and the threats were being made good upon.

Mages who had attempted to flee, but knew nothing of the outside world and were forced to return to their prison out of need for sustenance and shelter.

Mages who only desired to find the families they were torn from.

Mages who only wanted to see the sun.

This kind of repetition effectively slows the pace of your writing and puts the focus on that small scene. That’s where you get your slow pan. The same repetition also has a subtle musicality to it depending on the words you use. That’s where you get the same vibe as you might get from a Gregorian choir.

Once again, we’re disappointed to announce another plagiarism occurrence regarding Devil’s Touch. Both our theme and graphics were completely ripped off, stolen word by word from the very beginning. We were only able to detect this now, but we want to warn you that DEVILSTOUCHRP is in no way affiliated with the original DEVILSTOUCHRPG. It seems that they have not only stolen our code and graphics, but they have also taken a URL in relation to ours to make it appear as if they are affiliated with us. None of the admins are responsible for devilstouchrp, and we still haven’t been able to identify the person behind it. According to postlimit, they’re from an European timezone, running it on a sideblog. However, we would be thankful if you could reblog this to spread the word and/or report this page to the Tumblr staff, in hopes they’re taken down for once and for good.
