I'm seriously so happy with this cosplay. It was something I've had on my list to do for a while and I'm thrilled with how it came out. It was seriously a fun and comfy to wear at @indypopcon As much as I enjoyed wearing it, I also enjoyed other people's appreciation for the cosplay and character as well. Happy Friday everyone! Sorry, I haven't been active. Since the move it has been nothing but work and house stuff. Welcome to adulthood :P I am finally getting back into working on some cosplays and I can't wait! I will be attending Indy Pop Con, June 18th (Sat only as of now) hanging out in the lobby with some friends. Can't wait to see everyone and their amazing faces and cosplays. Sorry I haven't been very active - well active at all! I just moved and packing and unpacking has taken up my life! I was able to take a break and do a fun little shoot with #KayMayCosplayPhotography Hopefully I can get back to cosplay soon and keep you guys more updated. For those who are waiting on prints, they will be shipped out this weekend. Thank you for being so patient with me.

I remember every hurtful, mean, rude and disgusting comment I have ever gotten since day one. I try my best to be the bigger person and ignore those types of comment but every now and again those comments seem accurate on how I sometimes see myself. Suffering from BED and depression made me hate myself and I almost gave up cosplay. Instead, I took control of my life and my health. I am still no one 100% happy with where I am at but I am better than where I was a few months ago. Wether I am 210 lbs, 180 lbs or eventually 140 lbs - I will never be everyone's standard of beauty - but I will be my own kind of beauty and will be happy with myself and that's all that matters. Don't let someone's else idea of what beauty looks like ever diminish your beauty inside or out. I know hurtful comments do hurt - but those people who are willing to put you down have issues in their own life. They are not happy so they bring down other people. Don't let them bring you down into their unhappiness. Keep doing you and always remember to be happy and love yourself. You can do or be anything you want. Have a great Monday everyone! 😘
