Talking to Someone | Emily and Silver | 7/6
She could tell he was attempting to put her at ease but she simply shook her head. “No thank you, Sir.” She said softly, glancing at the fridge and then back at him. She chewed on her bottom lip before replying to his original question of how she was doing today. “Nervous…scared…” She wasn’t sure how to explain everything that she was feeling. “I feel as if I am going to wake up any moment and this will all have been a dream…”
Silver nodded. “I can understand that. What are you scared of at the moment?” He asked, smiling. “I can imagine that there are... many thoughts going through your head right now, many... worries, but maybe you could try and tell me what those worries, those fears are. I’ve heard them all before, so you can just say whatever is in your head.”
Dealing | Silver & Xander | 5/28
Xander shoved his hands in his pockets nervously, and looked up when Mr. Silver opened the door. The smile on the man’s face was almost reassuring. At least it made him smile a little bit himself, despite the fact he was still scared as hell.
“Hello Sir.” He spoke shyly as Silver invited him in. “No, it’s perfectly fine. I’m good, thank you for the offer though.” His eyes scanned the room, taking in the couch along with the desk in the room, noticing the papers laying on it. The man must’ve many patients, he thought. As motioned, Xander took at seat on the couch, shoulders slouch and hands tugged between his thighs. Waiting, his gaze fell back on the man, observing him closely.
Silver nodded, getting himself a mineral water, pouring it into a glass, and sitting down. “So, I looked at your form, and it seems like you’ve been having quite a hard time, recently.” He said, gently, looking at Xander sympathetically. He understood the frustration with feeling held back by your own emotional or neurological issues, and that that could increase the negative feelings.
“So, what would you like to talk about? Maybe we should start with how you have been... this week, let’s say. How has your mood been?” He watched the young man sitting opposite, seeing how wary he was, staying relaxed and calm himself, sipping his water.
Talking to Someone | Emily and Silver | 7/6
Emily looked up as the door opened and Master Silver was standing there. She held Beckett’s hand and nodded, attempting to return the smile. She glanced at Beckett once more for strength before standing up and walking into the office. She paused for a moment at the door and closed it slowly, her breath quickening as she turned to face Master Silver. She walked over and sat down, glancing down at her fingers before up at Master Silver. “What do I say?” She asked, quietly. “I’m not sure how all of this works…”
Silver smiled. “It’s alright. First of all, why don’t you tell me how you’re feeling? Just.. today.” He moved over to the little fridge that sat on his desk, opening it. “Can I get you a drink of anything?” She was clearly very nervous, and he wanted to reassure her. His eyes landed on one of the colourings from Will, and he smiled. If he could get through to that poor, broken, frightened young man, he was doing good.

Maisy swallowed hard and shivered a little as she kept fluttering her fingers over herself. Silver’s voice washed over her, comforting and growing more familiar. A little whimper pulsed from her as she moved the questing digits over herself, rubbing at that little nub that sent sparks through her. “It feels… good, Sir,” she whispered, shifting under the sheets.
“Good.” Silver smiled, letting her hear the smile in his voice. “You really are doing so well. Just let yourself feel it, and enjoy the sensation. I will be here, and you are safe.” He was impressed by her progress - she was much stronger than she believed. It was good, to be able to help her. “There is no way to do this wrong, you can just... do whatever feels good and natural.”
Talking to Someone | Emily and Silver | 7/6
To say that Emily was nervous was an understatement. While she tended to relive her captivity each night in her dreams, it was a completely different thing sitting down and telling someone else, someone she did not even know, about it. She knew it was for the best though, knew that unless she was able to talk to someone and get help, she would never get better. She needed to get better, if not for her sake then for Beckett’s. She didn’t want him to have to worry about her or feel as if he could not do the things he wanted to do because of her. She gave Beckett’s hand a squeeze as they waited for Master Silver to call her back. She was thankful to know he would be waiting for her and would be there at the end of her session to take care of her.

Silver read through Emily’s form again, and nodded to himself. He suspected sexual abuse, but he didn’t know, and he would never assume. Still, feeling comfortable around an older sibling, being nervous around others, haphephobia, they were all common symptoms of PTSD stemming from sexual abuse. He flicked it onto his tablet, and then got up, going to open the door. He nodded to Beckett, in greeting, and then smiled at Emily. “Hello, Emily. If you step into my office, your brother is welcome to wait, there is a coffee machine he can make use of. Just make your way back here in your own time.” He smiled, and headed back, leaving his door open, giving her the chance to gather herself if she needed it.
Well that's alright, there were a lot of people there and I sure wasn't one of the the high rollers. I just thought I'd drop you a line anyway and if you ever need a spotter in the gym, you go ahead and let me know.
Well, thank you, though I am more of a martial artist myself than weights. I hope you got good use of your purchase?
Dealing | Silver & Xander | 5/28
Xander had contemplated not showing up to Mr. Silver’s office at all. He had never been to psychologist, had avoided them at all cost throughout his teenage years. Now he had more or less agreed to talk and it was beyond nerve wrecking for him.
As he walked throught he corridors, Xander tried to make himself as small as possible, tried to be invisable. The wounds were still healing across his face and the bruises had turned a weird blue and red color. He arrived a few minutes before their appointment time, but simply stood outside the door, too scared to knock. But once he saw the clock strike, he did it on autopilot, his heart hammering in his chest as he waited for the man to open.

Silver had Xander’s file open, reading it carefully. It was vague, but he knew that if people were requesting therapy, it could be difficult to talk about it to a faceless form, to reveal their troubles and pain to a computer screen. He looked up, as he heard the knock, exactly on time - he must have waited out there. He smiled, getting up, walking around his desk and opening the door. It was cosy, but scrupulously neat, a sofa against the wall, a chair facing it, the other side of a low coffee table, with tissues on it, and some fidget toys.
He smiled at Xander, and ushered him in. “Hello, Xander. I assume you don’t mind me calling you Xander?” He asked, gesturing to the sofa. “Take a seat. Can I fetch you a drink at all?”

She let out a slow, shaky breath, closing her eyes. She focused on the music, on the sound of his voice slowly giving her instructions. Biting the inside of her lip, Maisy let her hand move down as he said, her legs spreading a bit as she touched herself lightly. Her finger brushed… something, something that made her gasp with how it felt. Unexpected, she tensed up, gulping as she waited for her breathing to calm down. Once it had, she teased her fingers over the same spot, the skin unexpectedly damp, a little whimper pushing from her throat.
“Good girl.” Silver said, quietly. “You’re doing very well, Maisy, so well. Just keep breathing for me, and take it slow. If you want to stop, you can at any point, remember that. Just relax, be aware of your muscles. Be aware of your body, where it’s tensing up, and relax.” He watched her, carefully, not staring, but keeping a close eye on her, still relaxed and calm.
PM: Nine would be just fine. Thank you, Sir.
PM: Well then, I shall see you then.
PM: Thank you, Sir. I will see you tomorrow, with or without my brother. What time?
PM: How is nine o’clock for you?
PM: I would like that, may I think about it? I would like my brother there but I don't know if I am ready for him to hear everything.
PM: Of course. If you like, we could take a few sessions together and then you can have him accompany you. However you would feel most comfortable.
Hello, I think I bought a St. Andrews Cross at a Charity Auction where you were auctioneer about 5-6 years ago. Just wanted to say hi.
Is that so? I do recall that, in aid of MIND, wasn’t it? I am glad you attended, we had an impressive turnout. You may recall the slave I had with me, he is also at Orenda at the moment. I’m afraid I don’t remember you.
PM: Sir, I wanted to let you know I submitted a form for counseling.
PM: Thank you, Emily, I have reviewed your form. When would you like to see me? I am available tomorrow, if you would like. You may bring someone with you, if that would make you feel more comfortable.

She laid back against the bed and closed her eyes, her hands falling to the mattress for now. Though nerves were tickling through her, she focused on her breathing, on the tranquil sounds of the music playing, on the comforting scents easing her mind. It took a while, but eventually, Maisy found the courage to undress completely, tucking her body under the blankets while her clothing and underwear rested next to the bed. It surprised her just how aware she seemed of the slide of the sheets against her naked skin, like her body was somehow… charged. It felt like the scene she’d done with Tic, with the ice on her skin, and his warm tongue following, the memory sending a shiver down her spine. “What… what next, Sir?” she asked softly, licking her lips.
He stayed aware of her, giving her soft praise as she gradually undressed, and smiled. “Just rest your hand on your stomach, feel your skin, and let it drift.” He spoke slowly, giving her time to absorb the words between each gentle direction. “Let it move, down towards your legs, just brushing between them, let yourself feel everything you’re experiencing, and relax into the sensations, enjoy them, and know that you are safe, and warm, and relaxed, remembering to breathe slowly. And if you feel yourself tensing, you can just pause, and relax, and breathe.” His voice was low, gentle, the music filling the long silences in between easily.
PM: Thank you Sir. Tuesday is just fine, as it's nothing urgent.
PM: Very well. I shall see you at ten o’clock on Tuesday, at my office.

The music was indeed soothing. She could feel herself relaxing a bit, the soft, gentle tones easing the tension in her muscles. “Thank you Sir,” she said softly. Maisy scooted up onto the bed, leaning against the pillows. Her eyes slid shut again, and she let the music roll over her, the comforting scents hitting her nose. Though she still felt a bit nervous, she sat up after a few minutes, slowly tugging her shirt over her head, leaving her chest covered by a plain cotton bra.
Silver just waited, relaxed, until she moved, pulling her shirt off. He didn’t look, or make much of a point of not looking, just staying relaxed. “Good girl. You’re doing very well. Just breathe, nice and slowly, for me. Nice deep breaths, let yourself relax.” He smiled, stretching out, totally relaxed, letting the atmosphere and energy in the room stay low and tranquil.
