Below this text will be several asks that I simply cannot answer. My inability to post them varies:
- I cannot think of a response (even after consulting third parties),
- a similar question was already answered,
- it goes in violation of the rules of the blog (ie, reveals, follow ups to previous questions),
- the holiday deadline to answer this has already passed,
I spend days, sometimes weeks, thinking about each question in my inbox; compiling lists of similar asks to knock out in one post, funny anecdotes, ect. And the ask count was getting too high for me to answer them from oldest to newest, with these ones blocking my inspiration.
The decision to delete these asks from my inbox is of no fault of the asker, and I sincerely apologize if your ask was deleted. However, I am just one person, one artist, and I want to run this blog as effectively as possible. That being said, if you see your ask on this list, perhaps consider rewording it or thinking of something different.
I am trying to keep this blog running as long as possible, but I want you guys to understand that sometimes it is difficult. I cannot make an art career out of only drawing one thing (as wonderful as that one thing may be). I’m behind, I’m feeling burnout creeping up on me and I know if I don’t get it under control there will no longer be a way I can catch up. I say this with acknowledgment to the fact that this blog isn’t about me(that’s what my art blog is for), but I am a part of it. But I thank you all for your continued support and sending in all those lovely asks :)
So I hope you can forgive me, for just being one artist :)
