Well, little Lizzie and Maria miss their uncle and grandma. I’ve been trying to plan a visit, honestly, it’s just so hectic. And Janet’s doing really well, she should be due in a few months. The baby shower was really nice, you should’ve been there.

And then there’s the kids’ and their school to think of, and Janet, she can’t travel much now especially. And since we’re so far away, I mean, Oregon is pretty out there. I wish I could. 

Yeah, I understand. They’re five now, and Lizzie is getting into soccer. I love these girls so much, more than anything. And soon I’ll get a little boy to love.

One trope I reallllllly reallly fucking hate to watch in movies is metaphors for racism by using like different “species” or fictional races like dwarves and elves and what not like… movies like Zootopia and all suck because they are based on the core belief that there actually is a “Reason” to racism that comes from the “Legitimate fear” of the oppressing party/walking metaphor for white people and not the fact that race was created as a sole basis to exploit people. It is not race that created oppression it is oppression and trying to build biological legitimacy to that oppression that created racism and any narrative that relies on metaphors like “Actually this fictional world has the races of herbivores and carnivores and carnivores are oppressed because herbivores have a real reason to be scared of carnivores who will eat them” are actually bad narratives -_- If you’re a writer or creative working on something that alludes to race right now it’d be better if you just play it straight instead of doing something like this -________-
