So it turns out that awful art block that’s been plaguing me for a month is because brain doesn’t want to draw MY ocs, only other people’s ocs. So here, Magnus be upon ye. @ask-an-energized-menace

*Missy eyed Magnus with curiosity. She seemed to at least remember the names and basic facts of Pokemon that she learned of before she died, but she’d never seen a Dyneon before.*

Missy: So, like, how did you evolve exactly? I thought that the electric type Eeveelution was Jolteon?

‘I’m… a dragon type actually.’

‘I can try to explain how I got like this, the best I understand.’

‘There’s this kind of energy. It’s red, and seems to make other pokemon get incredibly big.’

A more upset expression forms on their face.

‘When I was still… an Eevee.

I wandered somewhere where there was far too much of it… and ended up like this.’

‘It was confusing, and it hurt.’

‘But I did eventually get used to being… this.’

*Zipp approached the Pokemon with a look of concern and caution. While they did not seem hostile anymore, she didn’t want to risk getting herself into an unwanted battle.*

Zipp: Excuse me, but is everything okay? Would you like for me to move the Hatterene for you? I’ll simply heal them and move them somewhere else, assuming that your battle was a territorial or power dispute.

Though, if you don’t mind me asking, what kind of Pokemon are you? I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a Pokemon like you before.

They noticed the look of concern.

'It was neither.'

'They were trying to attack me, and wouldn't stop...'

'I'm not horrible... I promise. Please don't be scared of me.'

'I would appreciate if you'd move them though.'

'And if you really wanna know what I am...'

'I'm a Dyneon. I used to be an Eevee before I became... This. I don't think we're very common.'

*Zipp gave the Pokemon a look full of empathy and concern. She could tell that this Pokemon was clearly troubled.*

Zipp: Oh dear, I am not afraid of you. I apologize if I came across that way. A Dyneon, you say? How interesting! I’ll move this pokemon for you, but afterwards we could talk more if you’d like?

The Dyneon seems to get a bit less worried after hearing that.

‘It’s… alright.'

‘I think I would like to talk some more, after they’ve been moved. If that's ok.'

‘Thank you.’

With Magnus now introduced, they are now ready to be sent to other people.

In less fancy words, this is an Ask Call.

Taffy: Ouch, that doesn’t look fun! Want an Oran Berry Muffin? It’ll help heal you up.

I’m Taffy by the way! What’s your name?

'I think a muffin would be nice. Thank you...'

'I'm Magnus. It's... Nice to meet you.'

"Mya!" she approaches this strange Pokémon with a smile.

"Oho, who do we have here...?"

As she is trying to examine the Pokémon, she sees an unconscious Hatterene.

"Oh no, someone's fallen. Well, who did this thing, huh? And why?"

She stares at this strange mon.

‘Huh-’

They were caught off guard by the voice, turning to face its source.

They seem oddly surprised.

‘Oh-’

‘Uh… Hello.’

‘I’m Magnus.’

‘This probably looks pretty bad, but I can explain!’

‘I…

Knocked them out. But I didn't have much choice, they were trying to attack me and didn't want to stop.’

‘Please don't be scared of me.’
