*Jack practically sprinted over to Davey's house, his eyes watery though he wouldn't let the tears fall. He'd usually rush to Medda's, but he felt that he's been there too much over the last few days and didn't want to bother her even more.*

*His heart was pounding in his chest as he knocked on the door, hoping it was Davey that answered, rather than his folks, Sarah, or Les.*

"Jackie! What's wrong baby?" *He gently took Jack by his hand and sat him in the small kitchen of the apartment.*

"I'll get you some tea hm? Yeah?"

Davey!-

*He practically collapsed against him, almost hyperventilating.*

He hates me Dave, I- He's gonna run away, we might neva see him again, a- an' its my fault-

*Davey holds him gently*

Who hates you Jackie? Nobody does? Hey calm down okay? It's alright.

No, it's not- Finch came back and 'e's real sick and he looks hurt, and he won't rest and I tried to get him to and now he hates me-! He asked how I was plannin' on runnin' away durin' the strike and now he's gonna run to, but I can't lose another brother!-

*He was rambling, the words not making sense to even himself.*
