// To everyone that has followed Derp Gumi throughout the yearsā¦thanks so much! Iām really sorry for being inactive all this time and especially for disappearing without saying a word. Iām really not sure how much of you guys still remember this silly olā mustache Gumi but Iāve been polishing up my old (tumblr) artblog and I think itād only be fair if I give her a little update.
So a lot of you probably want to know if Derp Gumiās blog will be continuing or not. Itās really tough for me to say but itās also really difficult for me to say if I want to end it all. I really want to keep it going! I guess I want to say that Iām still on this really big hiatus? Itās unclear whether or not Iāll come back, truthfully itās been such a long time since Iāve done the whole answering-questions-thing and itād be really hard to adjust getting back into the swing of everything. Derp Gumi isnāt gone though and I still love her very, very much.
I ended up drawing this tiny picture of of her back in April this year and it made me think of all the fun memories I had on this site. It sounds incredibly sappyā¦but it made me tear up a whole lot. 2013-2016 (?) were simpler times and I made so many good friends and moments here that got me through such a hard time in my life. I may still lurk on this account from time to time (maybe Iāll even post more current fanart/sketches/unfinished WIPS if people are interested?) but in the meantime, Iād like to let you all know that Iām still active as an artist! Iāve promoted my art account before but if any of you followers are curious about my current works and whereabouts after all these years, Iāve been on twitter and other sites as, āDARUMAAKUā!
