Hello DPS army!! It’s been a while!
I thought I’d take a look back at this thing I started in middle school and good god were there some good memories.
It’s been a good few years since this started, and while this ask blog was still active, it had some of the best moments of that time. Interacting with you all as Rent and David and all these characters helped me through a big rough patch of my life. And I am proud to say i am doing much better. Although running this blog was fun, retiring it was ultimately the release I needed to keep growing, to keep developing… and that I did.
What happened in 2020 was something no one expected in a million years. These two years, despite us being told to shut down, stay home, and mask up, ended up being the most eventful two years of our lives. And with nothing but time, shit happened.
Most of it, on my end, was good shit. Vrglmun, who we now know as Iridize, has been my partner for upwards of two years. And I have loved every second. All of us, despite not being that into Duck Season anymore, still keep in frequent contact, and we’re all in a server with each other. A lot of stuff happened with school, but we managed to make it through. And… I ended up graduating.
Where am I now? 19 years old, working an amazing job with amazing people who I never would have imagined meeting, learning to drive, occasionally working a haunted house as a scare actor, writing music, working on a video game, and creating more characters and stories than I ever would have anticipated.
All in all, I turned out pretty okay. And i hope you all did too.
I don’t know why i decided to post this out of the blue. I guess I was feeling nostalgic. And none of this would have happened if I hadn’t started this blog when i did.
