The dream started off a bit sad but then I saw treecko, and he crawled on me and grabbed the gem you wear on your forehead! I tried to grab it but I also had your prosthetics on, so I lost my balance and fell u_u I think that was all that happened? It was kind of short to tell you the truth.

Musharna Mail!

You're on a raft near Pacifidlog Town, drifting away to sea. You helplessly watch as a Poke Ball floats away. You close your eyes as tears drip down your face, and the dream shifts.

You see a Treecko sulking in the grass of Route 104, right outside of a cabin. When it notices your presence, it follows you. It crawls on your leg, then your back, then it climbs on your head and grabs a green, diamond-shaped gem that was apparently on your forehead. You lose your balance while trying to get the gem back. As you fall, you see your leg extensions detach themselves from your feet.

Then you wake up. You've never worn that green gem, or those leg extensions, but you remember someone else who did.

Wally sits up on the couch, head already spinning from the vertigo of his dream. His gut had lurched as he fell, and now a gentle pressure remained in his brow as he collected himself. That was Rald, why was he dreaming about him?

Moving his hand to cradle his head, he felt the tacky remains of his tears on his cheeks. A flush rises in his face, all the way to his ears. Did his parents see him crying in his sleep? That would be embarrassing…

Maybe he should tell Emerald about this.

Hey, Crys..? You’re the only person I really trust to know this, so here it goes: I just crossed paths with some of my relatives and they bullied me, called me small and pathetic. Same old insults. I know I shouldn’t worry about it, but I can’t help it. They got under my skin and I just-… ran. I thought about fighting back but that would’ve been unnecessary. I don’t know what to do. Do you have any advice? 🥺

I understand you. I know how it can take one bad day for old wounds to hurt you again.

What helped me in that situation is what made me feel strong again. In my case, I had trouble catching Pokemon, so I started from scratch

But you don't want to rely on your gadgets too much, do you? That's probably not helpful...

You've changed. They haven't. Stand up to them and show them how far you've come since you went on your journey.

You can fight back, not angry, but confident.
