I'm on hiatus because I don't make content frequently enough to be considered "active". I mostly lurk and chat with a couple fellow ask-bloggers once in a while.
I've not lost interest in my characters either! I RP and talk about them with my friends all the time. I just don't really have the time or energy to keep their public blogs updated. I have a full time job + lots of big projects going on IRL. :y
Also @ask-ex-medic takes way more effort to make content for than @ask-pocket-pyro, hence why the latter sees more frequent updates. Also the poiro is much easier to make comics for in a vaccuum. Ex med needs, fuckin, story arcs, or interactions with other people's OCs, and I don't have the time for that unfortunately.
Even if I DID lose interest in these OCs, I'd never deactivate my accounts, because,
A, I would lose years of art, both mine and art other people did for me. I don’t wanna lose the gifts I got, and I owe it to people I drew for to keep their gifts available.
B, I'd lose my contacts with the many wonderful people I met through this blog (some of whom deactivated their own blogs already so I can't go to theirs to see the fun interactions I had with em), and I couldn’t easily befriend more peeps
C, I owe it to the people who like/liked my blog (myself included) to have the ability to go back and find me again in the future if they wish. Preserving history, even history as inane as a TF2 ask blog is, is important.
D, I can’t come back out of hiatus if I delete my blogs. :y I like drawing hands emerging from the ground way too much to quit completely.
((would this Engie hire a dietitian to help with the weight? I got a very legit, licensed, qualified physician here that can help! This here hobo Medic would love to help carve out all of Engie’s excess fat motivate and educate him to help on his endeavor. :v))
