This blog and it's fandubs were my childhood. I know this is well and truly dead and discontinued, but I just wanted to send in an ask for the sake of my younger self and to say thank you. Thank you for writing such a fascinating story that got me to look for it again, over a decade later, and for getting me interested in art along the process. I hope your day is a lovely one
Thank you, reading this did put a smile on my face today.
I'm glad you enjoyed the story I worked on, and I hope one day to return to making comics with my own original stuff.
I'm happy to hear you got into making your own stuff! I'd love to see it sometime actually.
I hope your day is just as lovely.
Before anybody reblogs, no, this is not a declaration of a reboot, or a sequel, or a remake. Rather, I decided it would be fun if for Halloween this year I looked at my very first post. What would I change with almost eight years of experience behind me? How would I frame it?
I ended up missing that deadline of October 1st, but I’m still posting this.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, and enjoy a look at how far I’ve come since 2015.
You can see the original first post here for comparison.

Actually part of why I didn’t continue the story for so long is because I wrote myself into a corner on that, and didn’t want to do some kind of redemption thing, while at the same time realizing there are some pretty nasty things people could take away from that entire last bit of the story.
AKA: A social reject takes revenge on an oppressive and lethal quasi-fascist government, only to end up turning into a monster and dying.
So, since it doesn't seem like you're going to continue this blog anymore (which is fair!!) could we have a summary of how the rest of the events would play out? I followed this blog for a very long time and I'd like to know how the story ends. :)
Yeah, I can write out some of what I had planned.
It was originally planned that Scootaloo was going to release unrefined rainbow gas into the main theater room. Injured by an attack, the Chairman would end up fighting Green, and be utterly overpowered. The two of them starting to merge, as Scootaloo is fitting on a gas mask.
Poisonous rainbow gas pours into the room, killing the unstable Green in the process. His body literally decaying off his bones, revealing the skeleton of a pony, despite all his changes.
Scootaloo realized there is a crack in her mask, and everything starts to go black.
There is a final dream section where Scootaloo sees Violet again. Finally fed up with all the bullshit, she tells Violet off. Telling her that hoping without action never did anybody any good. That they only way to move forward in life would be to take control of it herself, and to stop letting her fears of the past control her.
Waking up, Scootaloo discovers she’d been in a coma since the attack on the factory by Green. She discovers that in the aftermath of the event, Rainbow Dash took over the Factory proper, and would likely offer Scootaloo to follow as her protege proper.
Scootaloo in the end declines, saying she’d need a break from the factory to figure herself out.
The story would end with Scootaloo flying off from Cloudsdale, ending up in Ponyville, and seeing Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. In a crowd of ponies, she’d see Orion one last time… And END.
Leaving the audience on a final cliffhanger, with hope for Scootaloo’s future.
Whether she returned to the Factory of not, that’d be up for the audience to decide.
The recent(ish) series of posts that ‘took place after a two year time gap’ would be revealed to be a little day-dream like section, where the Chairman is trying to protect his hold on Scootaloo in a different timeline, and blah blah blah.
Honestly, I did that stuff mostly because I wanted to do some fun side stuff, since I had sort of lost my way in working on Factory Scootaloo proper.
Unicorns don’t get their magics from their body. Well, not completely. They draw in some from the world around them. Rainbows put magic into the world. If we didn’t manufacturer rainbows, then selfish unicorns would burn through all of Equestria’s magic in like... A week. That’s why we’re always pushed to make more rainbows.
