Genos’ english voice actor has already been announced!!

His name is Zach Aguilar. I’m just here to spread the information so I don’t know much about him or any other voice work he’s done, but I know he has voiced characters in anime dubs in the past (I’m unfamiliar with the shows he has worked on, but SAO was in there and I know that’s at least sort of notable), and I found a video containing some of his voicework samples from commercials he’s worked on.

Just gonna talk a sec about the English dub of One Punch Man. At first I was super iffy on the voice for Saitama. I still am, just going to depend on how he actually finishes out the season. If he can portray some character growth then I think everything will be just fine. Regardless I’m still going to love it because I’m in love with OPM.

It’s hard to say much when the characters are made specifically for the Japanese language. Their body language and mannerisms are that of a different culture. So it’s a for sure thing that to put a new language to it, it’s going to be different. Almost completely. I’d say. Let’s not judge too harshly until the whole thing is done. People work hard to do their best for the characters and Saitama is a tough cookie. So hopefully all will be well.

A friend ( @wolf–ink ) pointed out to me that sometimes we forget to appreciate the hard work put into the anime for us by everyone including the voice actors. Especially them. Because they have to tackle well known and loved characters. Which can be a risk for them. So I’m going to appreciate the fact that they tried their best at a challenge.

I look forward to falling in love with OPM all over again regardless of whatever happens.
