Someone greets the two of you, and you introduce them as yours.

He instantly straightened up like people just gave him mission briefing. His posture will straightened, his chest puffed, all proud and ready.

"Yes! I'm [Y/N]'s partner. Please take care when interacting with them." And he will say it in his proudest tone, as if he's just introducing you instead.

He doesn't feel embarrassed in the slightest that you just introduce him in that way. In fact, he felt honored and he expressed it in the most earnest way.

Will be more helpful the whole day through, it's the only way he knew how to express his gratitude through actions.

Later when it was in a more personal setting, he will lean on your lap and finally say how deeply appreciative he is that you love him enough to not be ashamed to introduce him to others. It means a lot to him.

His calculation buffers instantly, his core activity elevated just slightly for him to notice minor system dysfunction when you tell that to others nonchalantly.

He tilted his head slightly, the deep red iris in his visor whirrs as he analyze the best response. Honestly, to him this might be disadvantageous. What if people misused this knowledge? What if there's a spy around?

Still, he won't deflect. In fact, he will smoothly followed up with a smooth response: "That is correct. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Outside, he's calm. But inwardly? he constantly scanning the surrounding. Even if there's a slight mockery directed towards you, he won't stand still.

Later at the comfort of your shared space, he will ask your intention in declaring that. He's not mad, never. He just wants to understand.

Despite his inner screaming and mentally kicking his feet, he managed to hold his composure together to offer a small smile, cradling your waist to press against his side. "Oh, yeah-yeah. Nice to meet you."

When the person was gone though, his facade dropped and his knees buckled, face red like a beet. He didn't expect that!

But he actually feel happy and elated. To him, it was really a confidence boost that you feel confident enough to declare someone as pitter patter as he do.

He keeps sneaking glances towards you the whole way to the destination, still in disbelief that you just did that.

Will totally brag about it to his fellow comrade and heroes. You almost could see how his nose become pointed in pride.

PSA: Yusuke Murata's Islamophobia and Ableism

PSA: Yusuke Murata, the drawer of One Punch Man has tweeted an ableist and islamophobic tweet, seen here:

This was his response from an islamophobic tweet about pakistani people, from a far-right account. There's honestly too many layers to unpack but i'll just say this:

I actually remember the day I bought the first volume, and loved season 1 of the anime. And I bought 10 more, and was a fan.

Overtime after 2 poor anime seasons and endless redraws I stopped liking the manga and dropped it - but still liked the original Season 1.

I remember actively defending Murata online a few months ago against people hating the redraws (I was the minority defending him). And said he's doing his best. But eventually I quietly (this year) stepped away from this series because I realised I didn't like it anymore.

Little did I know how much of a favour I was doing myself by doing that.

I post this here because I want to let all one punch man fans know who Yusuke Murata is and then come to their own decision moving on forward.
