“H-hey!” Grian protested as the book was for once away from his side since the incident. Though he won’t admit to himself, he had become to the book; feeling already the withdrawals, he was ready to strike for it back but faltered upon finally looking at her closely. “W-what are you?”‘Princess,’ the book said, the skin like cover of the book writhing in admiral upon seeing the heiress of hell. ‘How’s hell for ya? Oh Accent? Saved him from another dimension, he’s helpin’ me travel the world.’

“No…there seems to be someone who died recently but his soul didn’t turn up in Hell.”

Grian pursed his lips, “w-who?” His heart sunk deep within his chest.

“I’m sure you know who…about your height, same face, total douchebag…”

Grian furrowed his brows, “Yuki isn’t going to like this….” He crossed his arms and sighed deeply, “oh bugger…” The book darted its eyes to and from both of them. ‘So doucheaccent did it. Smart idiot.’

“Yeah, and considering I have limited time on the human world…iiiiim gonna need you and that pink chick with the sharp teeth to get him.” She shrugged and patted the book gently before giving him back to Grian.

Grian did not even hesitate to retrieve the book, his arms securely wrapping around it. He sighed and nodded, “thank you for telling us... I shall get to her immediately.”

‘That guy almost killed me when he found out I don’t give immortality away. Ha!’ The book continued to enjoy itself, its eyes darting about more than usual. Grian swiped the hand away, “Necro, what is going on, who is she?” He crossed his arms and took a step back to examine the both of them.

“Sinthia, future devil and child of sin.” She said staring back at him. “Jeez, that Sam kid did a number on you, huh?”

‘S-Sam? Y-you know my sam?” Grian flinched hearing the words, it couldn’t have been this dimension’s as that Sam never even held it. Which means last Sam had to have been. ‘Yea! Every dimension is connected to one hell, controlled by yours trully’s own father.’

“Adopted father to be exact. Sloth and Gluttony were terrible parents…ANYWAY! That fuckers in hell with his girlfriend. It’s so cute it makes me sick” she smiles and pretends to wipe a tear. “So…how did you meet my friend here?” She Nuzzled the book as if it were a pet cat.

Grian shook upon hearing the other knowing of the two of his dimension, “hell huh… He doesn’t deserve that…” He looked at them and chuckled shaking his head, “Yuki found him, she went scavenging for the book after hearing about its existence. She wanted to give it to Sam as a sign of love, but when his powers became too much she gave it to me to hide while we thought up a plan to calm him down. We didn’t get a chance to make a plan… Necronomicon brought me here as the world was destroyed.”

‘Righto!’ The book rustled once more contently.

“I’m so proud of you, Necro!” She chuckled. “Any way.. I’m actually here for something important..”

‘Huh? What is it Princess? Hell needs another slave or something,’ the book joked, though Grian flinched upon hearing that.

Yuki stared at her arms. She was so ashamed of what she had done. “Fucking stupid….” She whispers to herself.

Ever since the day her beloved Sam was killed, she had harmed herself in more ways than one. She had scars all over, some old…some new. She hated it but it was the only way she could release the built up emotions.

She began to cry and lifted her knife once again.

Throwing himself forward, the brit reached for her wrist and pulled her back, wrapping his free arm around her to hold her in a lock. “Tch… I didn’t think you were right, but you were right. I guess I owe you Necro,” Grian said with a sigh, his eyes darting down to her exposed skin, writhing a bit as the sight of it made him feel rather queasy. He took the knife once he felt she would not protest and placed it away, sitting by her. “Damn it Yuki, you got me scared there for a moment.” He closed his eyes to compose himself, pulling her once again for a hug, “I’m glad you are ok, but seriously. Sam would not like to hear about this….” ‘I’d say something, buuut it looks like you got it handled accent.’ The book whispered.

Yuki hugged him back. “…How did you know… ?” She asked, her voice quivering.

“Necronomicon helped,” he rubbed her back and sighed holding her tight, “I told you, I promised that I’d help. Make up for the alternate one you got stuck with… I won’t ask why… Not now at least. Right now, I’m just glad you didn’t do anything stupid.” ‘Wait!’ Falling out of the backpack he is always held in, the Necronomicon sprung into his human form and turned to them both, ‘I’ll help again!’ With that it walked out, in search for bandages to help at least cover the wounds. Grian merely chuckled softly and sighed, “I’m sorry, I should have known that you should not be alone. Solitude is terrible on the mind…”

“Y-yeah… I’ve been alone for a while… Dad died in just about all dimensions…my Sam died and this Sam didn’t know what to think of me.” She wiped her eyes and smiled to him. “I’m glad you’re here…”

He smiled softly to her and continued to rub her back hoping it would help her ease, “well in this dimension I shall be here to help you stabilize. Everything will come around and you will find happiness. Necronicon and I promised that, and we will deliver.” ‘I said no such thing,’ the devilish being said returning with the items needed to wrap a bandage on her arm. The being stared at her arm and then to the bandages, reaching them over to Grian. “Here,” he leaned back a bit to gently hold her arm and apply the bandage up and down her arm, “I am too… I’ll always be.”

She gave him a kiss on the cheek and smiled through her tears. “You two are really good friends….” She winced a bit ad the bandages touched her arm.

Grian nodded and smiled in response, “I strive to be so,” once finished bandaging her up, he sighed and pulled her into a hug again, “I know it is hard to, but I would wish to help you stop this. “
