I’ve been going through a small crisis because I may never be able to draw digitally again unless I use a mouse, and then my art will never be the same, and I really like drawing digitally as opposed to traditionally sometimes, so I’m more than a little bit upset.

Digital art is also what gets the most attention, unless it’s something super stupidly detailed, probably because it’s easier to see with its non-traditional bolder lines and background.

Not to mention the ease of going back and fixing mistakes. Ugh not that art gets much attention on tumblr anyways, and I used to be part of that problem.

Anyways, I lost the pen that actually came with this computer, and then tore up the entire room, moved everything everywhere else, and still couldn’t find it, so until I pull it out from my ass by some miracle, my mood’s not going to be pretty as I was in the middle of working on something when I lost it.

I don’t know what the fuck happened to it! Did one of the animals eat it? I don’t know! Imagine fishing that out of dog shit and really going back to work with it again. It’s plastic, that’s not happening, since it could easily be digested.

Okay, got off-topic somewhat! So, it was something that clicked into this computer, and I’ve been really tight on money, so have only been buying necessities (still live at home, not a big deal, mostly had to buy some gut health medicine since a doctor won’t even check if I have a problem but ANYWAYS). I don’t know how to get a job, as I actually realized I have not...found out how transportation works, and when it’s out of order so to speak, I won’t have any solution but to walk in an area that’s just highways.

I’d not ask for money because it’s something that’s pretty damn stupid, so I’ll just get back to art when I feel like I’m not wasting time by having to do something completely over, or draw with a mouse (with how long that takes, fucking hell).

VAL (Victor x Andrew x Luca)

I’m going to be honest; I have a lot of complicated feelings about it. I don’t personally like how the fandom tends to portray the ship, or the fact that many shippers always look to make Victor soft and small (I’ve heard he’s more likely a tallass in canon??? I also heard that, weirdly, Andrew is more likely to be shorter in stature).

Many of those who ship it are yaoi fangirls, but let’s be honest, that’s probably how a lot of ships get started, and other people simply latch onto them with better intentions.

In theory, the ship is very cute! Luca is canonically a very amicable and kind person in behavior, described as “princely” in someone’s notes when studying speech patterns (there is apparently a recording of his voice somewhere). He’d probably make Andrew wary at first as the man’s been mentioned to not think people are genuine when they’re being kind, in one ic. post I noted on Twitter, but soon enough, he might get used to it, and even believe it.

Victor also is described as thinking people say one thing and act another way, and so Luca being genuine in his actions would be comforting.

I’ve said this to a friend, but I can see them both looking to the same man, whom of which is decoding the last cipher, and then they look to each other, make eye contact, recognize the wavelength, and are silently like, “Oh, we’re both gay for this man,” as they then look back to him and wonder, “Is he single?”

I think they could have a very cute dynamic if parts of the fandom stopped putting them in bottom/top roles and categorizing behavior by that method because, frankly, Victor got caught up in the mafia and walked straight into a fire. Don’t...Don’t make him an uwu soft boi strictly, he can be strong of heart. He can be stubborn. Allow him to be.

If people are going to have Luca be somewhat feral, don’t equate that to stupidity, or lack of logic entirely, because electrical work and overall mathematics...takes a lot of academic logic and even some street knowledge, so to speak. I’ve heard of a really gross fanfiction that had...sh...shock therapy...?? As a device??? What the fuck???

Don’t be afraid to make Andrew a little rough around the edges, even while likely having soft spots. Give characters, well...personality, and don’t strictly have traits just because they back up your ship. Don’t...change characters just to fit a ship. Then they obviously don’t fit the ship. Differences in portrayal are fine, but...

Eugh. Anyways! Ship with great potential that has a lot of weird portrayals. I’m not against it, I’m just not strictly for it depending on the nature of the person shipping with me. I also have a “what happens happens” approach, so I don’t strictly go do things because there’s a potential ship.
