It's important to keep a positive outlook! Having hope for the future is important.

But...

It's also important to be realistic too. Nothing good in this world comes free. If you want a good future full of hope, you've got to work really hard for it - Even as an Ultimate.

At least, that's what I believe.

You know what? This actually comes at a perfect time for me since I was just thinking about how nice it would be to get some new clothes. I'm beginning to outgrow some of my old things you see, so I was planning on donating them, which leaves plenty of room in my closet for new styles.

Hey Sayaka! How many albums/singles are there in your discography? I think I've got a decent collection, but the internet hasn't been overly clear on which records I may be missing.

Three of my greatest hits are Negaigoto Ensemble, Monochrome Answer, and Sky Blue Canvas!

Since my career began, my group and I have put out a new record every year. That would mean we have about six total albums. That's quite a lot, isn't it? How time flies.

I'm sure you could find them if you visited your local record shop!

Do you play any video games?

I don't have a whole lot of time for it now, but when I was just a little bit younger, I really loved going to this arcade at the mall with my friends and we would all play Dance Dance Revolution together!

Then afterwards we'd have lunch at the food court. It was such an energetically expensive game, so we always had to eat something afterwards.

It was so much fun! I'd like to make some time to go and do that again.

It's been quite some time since I've had any fast food, so I don't actually know what's on their menu. Unfortunately, I need to be mindful of what I eat.

What do you think you would do in a world where you were stuck in a building without any way to leave except commiting murder? And you had to watch a video where your idol group was shown in danger? For normal reasons, obviously.

That seems like a rather elaborate situation that you've come up with! You have quite the imagination... Could this be a reference to something, anon? Like a TV show or a video game?

Well, I'd have a lot of questions about the situation first and foremost... Am I trapped in there with anybody else? Who is it that's keeping me captive? Is the video real? Do I have access to food and water? What is the building like?

The more information that I could gather, the better suited I'd be to coming up with some kind of a plan to escape by any means necessary!

I'm certain that I'd be able to come up with a plan that doesn't come at the expense of another human life! There's no way a situation like that could be truly impossible to escape, and I can't imagine ever doing something so extreme as killing someone...

I think that I could remain calm and get out of there with everybody else! Yes, I'm very absolutely sure that I could!

Hey, Sayaka. What do you plan to do when you've finished with your idol career? Acting? More singing? A different career choice altogether?

If it were up to me... That is, if it all went my way... I want to be doing this for as long as possible. I'm so passionate about my role as an idol, I can't imagine being happy any other way.

Maybe... If I can't perform with my girls any longer, I would like to start a solo career as a pop music artist. Or perhaps I'd form an all-new band and try out some new genres.

Who knows? I think all of that is still a long way off.

not really an ask but it is hypothetical, so it counts .. wan wan.

imagine you are hiking inside the harsh wilderness and about to head another path to your house. would you choose to swim across an ice-cold , mile-long murky river OR spend an extra week crossing the nearest bridge ? wan wan.

A week is an awfully long time to be spending outdoors hiking... Assuming that I lack the necessary provisions in this hypothetical situation, I'd choose to take my chances with the river.

If I'm lost out there in the wilderness, it would be my number one priority to return to my normal life as soon as possible... No matter the cost.

Besides... The frigid temperatures are nothing that a nice hot bath can't remedy once I'm back home! I'd motivate myself by thinking about that the whole way back.

It would be worth it.

I prefer tea! As a matter of fact, I'm actually a little bit of a tea fanatic.

My favourites are rose hip and lemon tea, but I also enjoy hibiscus, orange pekoe, and ginger tea.

A little fun fact about me... I have a teacup collection! My favourite teacup in my collection is this adorable little red one. It's nothing special on the surface, but it was one of the first things I bought for myself once I became more independent, so it's rather sentimental to me.

(( The most daunting thing I'm finding about running this ask blog, and the thing that held me back initially, was the reality that Sayaka conceals much of her true self from the public. I have a pretty strong sense for what she might act like in a situation wherein she feels far less guarded, but on an ask blog, I imagine the public eye may just have her continuing to mask.

So bear with me as I try to weave the truth in between the lines! She might not always be completely honest in every answer that she gives, but that in and of itself is a truth, isn't it?

That being said, Sayaka is not constantly lying or anything! She just may be a little more wary about what sort of information she chooses to share. ))

But even then... There's far more to my life than just love, you know?
