What’s your favorite traditional dish?
“ Ume chazuke is a traditional Japanese dish served at the end of meals. I personally like my mines as a meal during dinner. Anyways, it is served with rice and furikake is sprinkled on top of it with ume place ontop of it. Then hot green tea is poor into the bowl to finish it off. It is so good and a dish that should be more appreciated! “
“ Other Japanese dishes that are good besides ramen is udon which is similar except its a fat rice noodle. “
Extra Fun Fact:
“ Furikake is a Japanese topping that is normally found in Japanese founds like salt and pepper in American homes. It consists of usually sesame seeds and nori also known as dried seaweed- though other items like in the image above can be added to the dish. It makes the rice to have more flavor and my personal favorite topping to add to rice! Next time you have some rice, try to sprinkle some on top and trust me, you will be enjoying rice as much as I do “
“ Even though I’m small, I am just peachy without you “
