Did you know about Silda and Martin going to Mesque????

Because Silda seems to have now gotten into trouble and idk about you but I'd be concerned about Martin's safety or lack thereof.

You'd be surprised at how much in sync these two can get when it comes to keeping each other alive. If anything, against all odds, Silda's presence gives my child some much needed sense of self preservation. And yes, of course I am aware of them leaving, who do you think is covering for Martin at the precinct?

How's being a grandpa going?

Pretty decent if I do say so myself. The ducklings are healthy and, dare I say, thriving. I didn't anticipate they'd bond with Tiivo as much as they did, but I suppose that's to be expected, once Martin got him to actually be calm around them. If anything I'm glad to have more excuses to spend more free time in the yard too. Who knows, maybe one of us will get to get the garden in order too one day.

What was the worst thing you ate during the war

It was not as bad for us as it could've been, for the most part. We often moved near forested areas and capable soldiers hunted and gathered there when we ran out of food.

There was, however, around a month or so one winter when we had to resort to eating rats stupid enough to get close. It was only purest luck that none of us got anything from them.
