The Mod Team received one audition for the role of Jacinda and we would love to welcome Lindsay to ask-onceuponatime as our Jacinda!

Cinderella/Jacinda Closing

The role of Jacinda will be closing on Saturday at 5pm Est. As of right now we have one application for the role and would love a few more before the role closes. You have plenty of time to submit an application in if you’re wanting to try out for this role.

If this role doesn’t interest you, we have some other open roles that we would love to see filled. Come have a look around to see if anyone catches your eye. Hope to see some new auditions!

Past Characters

Now as people know, we’re still allowing the older characters to be applied for and played as long as they were alive the last time we saw them. So Prince Charming can be played, but we can’t have Peter Pan running around anymore. It was the first example I could think about, but you know what I mean on characters alive verse being dead and gone.

The problem is it can get a little boring to play from the season 6 finale forever and ever as long as you decide to stay in the game, especially because it will make questions unable to come in around new stuff. After seeing how the show dealt with Emma/Hook, we have a better idea on how we’re going to handle the older characters and we wanted to make it known to people in the game and anyone wanting to try out for characters who might not be seen ever again.

If your character hasn’t been seen in spoilers or has an episode coming up for them, then they can move ahead in the timeline because it isn’t fair to leave you hanging. Now you have to be reasonable in your moving forward timeline so like Snow and Charming are not going to decide oh, we’re getting a divorce and Charming announces he’s going to steal Hook from Emma. So keep it reasonable on the moving forward. This means you can also interact with people in the same shoes as you so Emma can interact with Snow, share the good news, and all that because we have no idea if or when she’ll be back, but Emma can’t interact with Belle just yet because we know she has an episode coming up.

For characters who have an episode coming up and know about it, then you’re going to be playing from the finale until your episode has aired. So Belle will be playing from the season 6 finale until her episode 4 when she can move forward because she’ll know what’s going on with her character and won’t be left in the dark anymore.

Now of course, characters might be showing up later on down the road and we just don’t know about it yet. If this happens, then we’ll adjust to fix whatever those people had that don’t match up with what comes out then. This only applies to the older characters who are not on the show anymore or might only pop up for one episode. If you have any questions, you can message us and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Interactions for the Week

We felt with two different groups around that we’ll keep this up so no one gets confused or ends up unsure causing them to go without any interactions when they can have them. This is the interactions for the week:

Henry/Rogers/Roni are at the bar for the week.

Weaver/ Victoria are interacting for the week.

Everyone else as a character for this new season is on their own and doing their own thing.

Hook/Emma are back in Storybooke with the news of Emma being pregnant.

Everyone else from the older seasons and not in the new season will have a post showing up in a few moments with how you’ll be playing because the mod team have talked it over with seeing how things went with Emma and Hook. Be sure to look for that post.

Question: if I apply for a character like Cinderella/Jacinda, do I get to answer questions in both timelines or just the current HH one?

You will always have to answer asks from your character’s position in the current timeline which is Hyperion Heights. You can answer asks about what happened in the other realm but until Jacinda gets her memories back of that time, she would have to answer along the lines of ‘that never happened’ etc.

It sucks that the ex-rper of Emma (the main character) was barely active and had a years-long list of unanswered messages, but you refused to cast another person and you guys lost so much time of a playable Emma, even this last summer which was probably the last time Emma will be playable. :( :(

I wasn’t going to answer this but it seems that you caught me in a bad mood.

Our Emma has been about as active as any of us has this summer - not at all. I play Rumplestiltskin and haven’t posted an ask in months because, surprise surprise, a lot of us were unsure about going into this next season and lost some of our love for the show. We all had decisions to make and things to think about so don’t think it was one particular person who was inactive.

Also, I must point out that our Emma isn’t ‘ex’ anything. She is still with us and will still be playing the character she has done so for years. We didn’t ‘refuse to cast another’ - we are not in the business of kicking people out because they didn’t post. Everybody gets the same form of warnings.

Please do not come into our ask box and complain about a member. It’s really quite rude and unfair as we all have lives outside of our blogs and sometimes things get in the way.

That is something we are currently working on. By tomorrow our player list shall be up to date with all active remaining players and we shall be opening up the characters we lost alongside those new characters which are now available.
